High level VS matches do, in fact, take skill to win in. Incomprehensible, I know.
Oh I don't doubt there are a few "diamonds in the rough" out there... People that have the raw talent they need to be effective in 6s.
But believe me, for the most part, people that do nothing but play 1v1 modes get completely exposed if they need to play with teammates. And it has nothing to do with their "skill", but with their mindset. Because the game doesn't teach them the basics of playing a team based sport like hockey. You can't trust your AI forwards because they're useless. You can't rely on your defense because they're MORE useless. And you can't depend on the AI goalies.
So these people learn to rely only on #1: themselves... And then that's how they play in 6s.
Just aint gonna change IMO until grades mean something.

Are you suggesting perhaps the possibility of players being matched up based on their grades as a CR replacement? You play like a bad teammate, you get bad teammates.
A lot of things with the way grades are assessed need to be worked out before this can be implemented however.
