mascots are clipping bad in this game u can see him clipping though the boards, and clipping on the railing post in the aisle ways, and though some fans in their seats
Here are some of my complaints as an EASHL Goalie.
° Post-hug (LB) is very inconsistent. Often times, the goalie will unnecessarily look right at the post and make a long skating animation towards the post instead of simply quickly leaning against the post. This is frustrating because skaters are able to quickly twitch around and move the puck while goalies are busy with unnecessary animations.
° One-timers are too easy and require virtually no skill. Any mediocre forward is able to stand at the backdoor or slot, holding the Right Stick up, and score off one-timers. Goalies usually either have to cheat over to try and make the save, or get scored on. Goalies need more reaction speed, or one-timers need to be nerfed a bit. My idea is to make automatic one-timers easier to perform while also being a slower and less accurate shot, and make manual one-timers harder to perform while being a faster and more accurate shot. It's frustrating playing goalie while the other team constantly tries for one-timers.
° Breakaways. Goalies need to be able to match the lateral movement of the skaters. We're too slow to match the movements of skaters who can twitch side to side with ease while virtually never losing control of the hockey puck. A possible solution would be to have the goalie's lateral movement speed increase the closer the hockey puck is to the net, possibly only if the skater is on a clear breakaway.
° With all the fancy dekes that skaters have, all the advantages in speed and quickness, why do skaters need to consistently be able to snipe that inch of sunshine on the short side?
° When tracking the shooter with the left stick, goalies often use the right stick to quickly slide over to the opposite side to make a save on a pass. It seems that the goalie often doesn't actually move when using the right stick while using the left stick as well. I would suggest that using the right stick should override the use of the left stick. Theoretically, this would allow us goalies to move across for the pass with the right stick instead of getting stuck where we were standing.
° Fix the issue where the goalie tries to move from post-to-post while hugging the post and ends up hugging the middle of the net. I can't believe this wasn't fixed last year, let alone still an issue this year.
° Fix goalie interference. Goals should not be allowed when the goalie makes a pad save, but a skater skates into the goalie and knocks both the hockey puck and the goalie in the net. I mean, goalie interference is literally against the rules in the NHL.
° Tone down the cross-grain shot. There's no reason that my goalie should be jumping out of the way of the puck when I'm trying to track the puck-carrier.
this game is garbage, made by garbage people, it is 2017, and if Sony and Ea don't want to allow for more than 15mb internet speeds, **** is the point?...I'm done playing games where i cannot move at all, and the other person is blowing by me, yet i have the fastest internet in the country, so glad i played the beta, so i know i won't have to waste money on a garbage product
The game continues to play like trash, TPS is bad, vision control doesn't work well, and in combination to those things there is too much input delay issues.
Its a given the input delay issues have always been a problem but when they added TPS and a broken vision control it made it feel worse.

- Add animation to puck holder to keep the puck inside the offensive zone no matter what. If you have all 5 players in the offensive zone and your defense gets the puck close to the blue line, they should do everything they can to keep puck in the offensive zone.
- Seamless puck pick ups dont work. players often circles around the puck.

If the Firmware version is a previous version, then you should reboot the modem. Unless this is a newly installed modem with much earlier firmware, the reboot should cause a version check to run during the reboot, at which time V2.0.10.27 should load. When that is fully loaded, the modem has rebooted on its own and is back in an operating state, log into the modem as indicated above to set the operating mode to IPV4 and reboot the modem.
When that is complete, try the Xbox again and let us know if FIFA 17 is running as it should."
And by the way, yeah, If I get a lead 3 vs. 3 in EASHL then we are raggin the puck on you.
come and get the puck then.
Don't be a tool shed. You can rag the puck just as effectively even when your opponents are forechecking hard. It's just a **** move that guarantees you a win once you're up by a goal.
As shown by ****'s extreme lack of sportsmanship, it's obviously apparent that EA needs to do something about puck ragging in EASHL 3v3.
There are just too many people who take this game THAT seriously.
I didn't create a 3 vs 3 continuous game on full ice in EASHL. Don't get mad at people that are forcing you to step up your game when you are down, there are 3 skaters and full ice. What did you and EA think was going to happen?
Would you like me to just give you the puck? Which zone shall i just hand you the puck? Let me know so i can "fair" this up a bit more.
I trust you now see where i am coming from on this.

Nope... Not there quite yet.
I don't want you to "just give me the puck"... I simply want you to continue playing the sport. I completely agree with you IF the other team is just trapping in the neutral zone and not even trying to retrieve the puck but that's clearly not what is happening in your scenario.
The community has to take some responsibility for how this game is played. An entire team of just decent players that is dedicated to ragging the puck as soon as they go up by 1 goal will succeed in doing so almost every single time. Forecheckers (and skaters without the puck in general) are at a severe disadvantage when it comes to chasing the puck carrier.
But hey, I'm sure you're fine if that becomes the main strategy EVERY SINGLE TEAM uses. Score the 1st goal and guess what? You win. Congratulations... you've just made club 3v3 worse than drop in 3v3.

point 1: 3 vs 3 continuous play.... is a sport? nah, it wasn't until EA put this in as a "new game mode" (A.K.A. pull two preset build players off the ice). it's goofball at the all-star game and it's goof ball in EASHL.
point 2: so yer sayin there is no way... no way to defensively take the puck off puck raggers? like... totes impossible?
point 3: I didn't make a "new mode" by pulling 2 preset build (cough) players off the ice, play on a full sheet of ice, continuous for 3 periods.
honestly, I don't puck rag.
my entire commentary is built sarcastically around the fact that once again with EASHL - less is more:
can't fix goalies takin a walk out the crease in order to draw a cheap interference call? just remove goalie interference.
can't get stats to mean anything and prevent the oh so dreaded "super build" or make size / weight / physics realistic with regards to puck control and hitting? just make some preset builds.
creates new mode; new mode consists of taking two preset skaters off ice.
and hey, it's all just my lowly opinion. I've been around here a while, way longer than this login / ID and I respect your posts and opinions.... but, l'll say it again:

enjoy the 3's.
I've only played 3's (EASHL... I didn't touch the arcade ****) and OVP in the beta. Not once did I see puck ragging. So let me just throw that out there. Now I'll respond to your post because, I too, respect your opinion... which is why I quoted you in the first place:
Point 1: It's hockey. It's a shinny, $15 pick-up at your local rink version of hockey... But it IS hockey. So let's not act like it's some completely different thing and we should completely disregard how the sport is meant to be played because of that. I'll tell you this... whenever i play pick up (which I will tomorrow afternoon) no one rags the puck when they're "winning." And this is with money on the line. Surely, in a video game that means nothing, people can not rag?
Point 2: Do I even need to respond to this? You know that it is not outside the realm of possibility to rag the puck for an entire game and do it consistently. We both know this. We may not do it. But we know it.
Point 3: No one said you made the mode... what I'm responding to is how you said you would play that mode. That's like someone who condones shooting people because they can saying (and I realize that this is an EXTREME analogy) "I didn't create guns! Blame the gun manufacturers for certain peoples' actions!"
As far as everything else you said after that... yes, I agree. EA sucks at solving problems that arise due to their gameplay decisions. I also don't care either way if we have customizable attributes or not. I'm cool either way.

Are you kidding? No. That was a great decision. You shouldn't be allowed to play "competitively" against a single person if you have more than one person.
After spending a week with the beta, I came to the conclusion that I enjoy two things about it: 3s are fun (EASHL/drop, not the mode), and the defensive skill stick is a nice addition. That doesn't warrant a $60 purchase, and I've decided that this will be the first NHL that I don't buy on release day since NHL 07 introduced the skill stick. I haven't had the urge to touch the beta in the past few days, and thus see no point of paying full price for NHL 18. I'm admittedly kind of burnt out on the series, but there are also a ton of other issues that lead to this decision. So if you really are interested in constructive feedback, here it is:
-Fix the online situation. Being stuck in a laggy game for 20+ minutes is not a fun experience. Use that HUT pack money to add more servers, or whatever you have to do.
-Improve the defense. The skill stick is a start, but I should be able to nudge someone off the puck if I'm next to them. The amount of times I've been right up against an attacking player and pressed the right stick only for absolutely nothing to happen is beyond frustrating.
-Let us customize our EASHL players again. The legend card thing can continue to be a thing of the past, but I miss being able to allocate the points the way that I see fit.
-For the love of all that is holy, fix the puck pickups.
-Instead of just 3s, why not 2s and 4s as well? Or just a no-AI mode. If a player quits, the guy will just disappear completely. Obviously this won't apply to goalies. But really, the fun in playing 3s is lots of open ice and no CPU. So instead of penalties adding CPU players, just make it 3-on-2 or 3-on-1. Yeah, yeah, I know it requires more than "a couple lines of code."
-Go back to the old drop-in system of allowing people to pick whatever position they want in the lobby. I know I'm not the only one who "would have switched to D" in order to get a game going when there are 15 seconds left on the timer and You have one team of five skaters and another with three forwards, and then everyone quits before the game starts due to uneven sides. I get WHY you put this in the game, but defensemen are still deciding to play like forwards without punishment anyway so it didn't work.
-Why are menus STILL laggy? I don't feel I need to elaborate on this.
-Maybe most importantly (besides fixing online): If the game is going to have a budget and development effort somewhere between an indie game and a AAA title, price it accordingly. There's no reason to charge full price for these games. I'd pay $30, maaaaaaybe $40 for it.
Do at least SOME of the above stuff (online improvement is mandatory though), and I'll consider buying NHL 19.
You guys are losing more and more loyal players with each entry into the series, and you've finally lost one of your most dedicated. I know I'm not the only one either. I miss when you had competition and actually had to come up with innovative ways of being better than the 2K games. Now it just seems like you guys have a meeting asking, "How can we improve the game while putting minimal work into the project?" and call it a day.
this game is garbage, made by garbage people, it is 2017, and if Sony and Ea don't want to allow for more than 15mb internet speeds, **** is the point?...I'm done playing games where i cannot move at all, and the other person is blowing by me, yet i have the fastest internet in the country, so glad i played the beta, so i know i won't have to waste money on a garbage product

Thanks,i also know they have a new router BUT i will have Bell next week and no more rogers ;')
The AI Passing needs to be toned down in EASHL...there's no error margin when you call for pass. It allows too much cherry picking - very evident in 3's

I didn't create a 3 vs 3 continuous game on full ice in EASHL. Don't get mad at people that are forcing you to step up your game when you are down, there are 3 skaters and full ice. What did you and EA think was going to happen?
enjoy the 3's.
Speed has very little to do with it.
Thanks,id@rUnotENTERTAlND
Thanks,i also know they have a new router BUT i will have Bell next week and no more rogers ;')
I am surprised nobody else has this issue.
