It's like a crapshoot! Some games feel great. Others are unplayable.
After about 30 EASHL games in the beta, I realize that they still haven't improved this problem. For years, it has felt like in some games you have control, your player does exactly what you're expecting based upon your controls, there's no delays, everything seems fluid, etc. These games are fun.
Then, other games, it feels like a puppet master is fighting with you, your player does all sorts of unexpected things, you feel like everything is a split second behind, you don't feel like you're in control, and it's just a total exercise in frustration.
Surely, the testers, devs, etc. must experience this as well. Apparently they just figure "2 out of 3 ain't bad" or something. The problem with that is that we forget about the fun games with no issues and turn off the game after unplayable games and that's what get stuck in our memory.
