He's right... you need to contact PS or Xbox... something similar happened to me last year... albeit it was actually the opposite of you and they still helped...
I purchased the Deluxe for $100 before seeing the "save 10% by ordering through game" promotion...
PS refunded me back my 100$ and then I re-purchased the 90$ game... basically refunding me $10
