25 shots on goal challenge

Been trying this for 2 days now and can’t achieve it. Had 22, 23, 24. Very frustrating. Always pull my goalie so the cpu team don’t waste time in my offensive zone, they just shoot and score and go back to face-offs.
Any tips appreciated

I am in a good mood so I will help you out...

if you are winning towards the end of the game and you only have like 20 shots, pull your goalie and let the CPU tie the game... you have an entire 2 minute OT period to get your remaining 5 shots, just don't let them score lol

Because you don't have to do all three challenges in one game, for example you can win one game and start a second time and try to go for the 25 shots. The easiest way is whenever the computer has the puck to move out of the way and let them score move your goalie out of the way also. And then whenever you have the puck take as many shots as possible because you're moving your goalie and the puck starts at Centre you maximize your time to get the 25 shots

Ya I found the OT helped the other day when completing a challenge, damn CPU ragged the puck for the first 30 seconds on the opening period. almost had a moment, haha.

It seems that EA's vision is that we position lock and pull the goalie to win the challenge --- it's in the game

You do have to get 25 shots in order to get the flashback collectible though...

Edit: Nvm, just realized your post was from yesterday. Either way, it is indeed a requirement for today's collectible.

facking ridiculous ..why cant you make the challenges doable ? too worried somebody might get a facking collectable? why dont ea stop letting the 4 sub accounts **** and make the challenges at least workable so the rest of us can get some cards..i cant afford to buy any more ..and then you make it so hard to do worried a player might get something or the 4 sub accounts will get more ..

17 hours and over 500 tries and cant get more than 19 shots ..i havent scored a goal now in over 50 games ..its enough ..you think im going to spend money ? why ? why cant you make the challenges at least possible to all players ..i been here since noon yesterday and ..if I die of a heart attack because of the time limit , I want my parents to sue ea sports and hold them liable ..im getting ready to take a baseball bat and go beat someone down at the gas station to let my anger out ..fack you ea and fack your challenges ..im selling all my coins on ebay to hopefully get part of my cash back. super hard challenges is not going to force me to spend any more real cash ..no video game should be this hard..this was supposed to be an enjoyable game and something I did to relax and have fun with

18 straight hours..you know in real hockey they actually score goals? have you people ever watched a game? some games they even score 3-4 goals ..i swear.. not all games are 1-0 2-0 1-0 ..wat fun is it to play 500 attemps and only score like 5 goals ..and you cant position lock ..your AI men will not shoot nor help

HUT is not just the challenges. The challenges are an addon which EA introduced this year for the first time. A challenge is a challenge and if everyone would be able to solve every challenge we all would be real NHL players or something different what matters.

Yes, the 25 shot challenge on Superstar is very difficult. I´m able to beat the computer on Superstar most of the time but I have huge problems with this challenge as well. I have started to ignore the 25 shot challenges and do whatever is feasible for me. And shooting 25 time in 6 minutes has nothing to do with ice hockey.

Anyway, the challenges offer something for everyone. The weaker players will get something from the PRO level challenges, the better players can try ALLSTAR or even the SUPER STAR challenges. However, it is still just an add-on not the main part of HUT. Everybody can get something and earn some easy coins or contracts and maybe even moore. When you`re done with the add-on you can focus on the other things which determine HUT. In the previous years there were no challenges. So I dont know why people complain abouit this extra opportunity to get something.

I´m angry, too when I play the challenges and sometimes I think the AI unfair as well. My wife just said two jours ago I never grumbled so much with the game like this time. However, I´m aware of the fact that a challenge is a challenge (and HUT just a computer game), so I try again or skip this one.

Check your energy sliders. If you have them jacked up it will make the cpu ai play like their on crank and doesn't seem to affect your ai at all. Don't play with a five star team either. Also wait a few sec after you enter the zone don't just go in and fire it on net. Get someone in there for the rebound.

I tend to quit the game after the first period when I see how many shots I’ve taken. Best to leave it before a controller goes through my television

if it is impossible than how have I completed most challenges? I dont have a stacked team and I have not spent any money on my team and I did not need to cheat and adjust the sliders like most people, The challenges are supposed to be challenging and they are doable, my biggest issue is I completed the 25 shots to get a silver plus pack, and I never got my pack tried to contact ea multiple times and never got through but as for the challenges being difficult, thats why they are called challenges take them in to OT if you need extra time for shooting on the net I completely agree it is a hard challenge but it is doable

Shoot low to get rebounds. Crash the net. You get the puck and just shoot. The 3 stars do not have to be completed in the same game. I can't believe how many people are complaining on how hard the game it. Phuck

It is sad that there are this many people complaining about the challenges dont like it dont play it, its not impossible, but practice does make perfect deff a situation where hate the player and not the game you dont need a stacked team to beat the challenges nor do you need money so the challenges are not the issue

I never said it was impossible I simply said I was struggling with it. Multiple attempts and can’t get close so I’ve gave up for now.
