CPU suctioning you in needs to stop

Playing mainly EASHL 3's (2 humans 1 cpu player plus goal):

It's ridiculous when two humans are at the opposing blue line, call for the puck, you read the play PERFECTLY and intercept the pass before it even leaves the offensive zone, and the CPU dman just gets a shot of adrenaline and beelines toward you completely sucking you in and delivering a bone crunching body check before you can even make a move. It even feels like you're stuck in the mud allowing the cpu d-man even more time to suction you up.

It. Happens. All. The. Time. It's like I'm being punished for good defense and good reads.

Then....the two human opponents don't even bother coming back because the cpu d-man has already broken 10 of my bones and throws another 90 foot pass up to them resulting in offensive chances for THEM. IT

Defensive plays like this shouldn't be thwarted by a CPU d-man completely defying physics to cover up terrible opponent plays like this.

The CPU completely ruins this game over and over again. Sometimes you can't always find enough humans to play this game and it's a fact that sometimes one team just has a super over-powered CPU player while the other has a complete turd and cone who can't even make a simple pass.

Every year all we hear is "improved AI". We haven't seen it in YEARS. All EA does is give them more unrealistic boosts of speed and power. That's all.

  • There's a reason games like counter strike and rocket league when played professionally and in a true competitive environment have zero bots.

If you want to have the best possible experience in any game you must remove all bots. If not you risk an undesirable experience.
