Checking for roster updates in EASHL?

WhyTF is this necessary when I’m trying to load into a room with friends in EASHL?

The game is just verifying you are running the latest version regardless of the game mode you play. Did this too on old gen every now and then.

I believe it already says it’s also checking for the latest game updates. No need to check for the latest roster updates too.

It’s just part of the general logging online to their servers. Same procedure if you will, as going into HUT or VS.
