Seriously how do you win as G

Just trying to get some wins as Goalie in drop in and I literally have never seen such garbage...

I’m a solid goalie, but drop in is absolutely ridiculous, I don’t get how any goalie can get wins...

I’m 3-0 as goalie in club, 90+ save% and under 2 gaa..

Drop in I’m 12-9-3 with 3.17 gaa and a 83 save%...I’m tired of playing drop ins where my team in front of me is less than useless...the game I just got out of we were up 2-0 other goalie quit, my team had 9 shots in the 1st period...fast forward to the end of the 3rd and it’s tied 2-2 and my team has a total of 11 shots and 10 penalties...we go on to lose in OT being outshot 23-11...how do you goalies manage to get any wins going at the rate of scrubs in drop-in? I swear every team I end up on people just figure skate, force 1 timers or don’t pass at all and then run up for big hits and miss or just take a ton of penalties like this last game

Yeah but it goes both ways. I just ended up quitting a game because our troll goalie let in 3 on purpose to put our team down 3-0.

Its always me and randoms vs another team who always has like 3 or 4 of the same friends they play with (you can tell immediately when you going up against a squad) and I still have a cr thats close to 800 ...it actually dropped from 850

So proud of myself. But then again I shouldn't be surprised how awesome I am

Maybe your team should play defense and stop massing in his crease and trying to block every shot instead of letting him do his job? If you wanna block shots in front of the net that badly, just pick G next time you play. Stop trying to be the goalie if you're not. Stop trying to block shots. Stop tripping players on a breakaway. Stop diving when a shot is taken and you're behind the net. Stop running into the goalie. Stop turning over the puck in your own zone trying to dipsy doodle through 3 forecheckers when you can PASS the puck. Stop trying to weave your way through 5 skaters in the offensive zone over and over and over again, only to cough up the puck over and over and over again. Stop playing FORWARD when you pick DEFENSE. Stop trying to go for the BIG HITS at the blue line.

Sadly, the only way to win as a goalie in drop-ins is if your team wins the match. If they can't play defense (and 9 times out of 10, your team won't be able to), if they can't attack as a team and pass the puck, you're gonna lose. Even if you somehow can stop nearly every shot the other team takes on you, you'll still lose.

Even in Clubs, your wins and stats are all up to the players in front of you. If they suck, you'll lose. Plain and simple. That's the way this game was built.

Goalies are garbage on purpose. Accept that.
