@bloodyroses420 , thanks that means a lot to our teams. Check out the reply I posted right above your own in case you missed it
  • So after dealing with hurricane florence I no longer have the dressing room error. Here is my theory on what fixed it:

First off, the hurricane came through and killed power and internet for 3 or 4 days. I booted back up once I could and I played a few games with the club without the error. I was shocked so I started investigating.

I realized that Spectrum game me a new public IP as my website hosted locally wasn't working. I also noticed that the internal IP of the PS4 changed. What this meant was that all my port forwarding was forwarding to the wrong device. I've left it all alone for now because I'm able to play without issue.

So to fix it, have a hurricane blow throught, get s new public IP, and dont port forward.
  • This is by far the worst nhl you guys have ever put out.

You guys messed up the lobby’s I always have to rejoin people dressing room erroers. After the bata we were all excited to buy this game now it’s here it’s trash the worst nhl I’ve played ever and trust me I’ve bought them all since 2003
  • Hey @EA_Roger we appreciate all of the updates you’re giving. Hopefully that fix happens in the next patch or so. I’d like to be able to enjoy the game as it was advertised.

EA and Rockstar games are the only ones I play. I wish you all could take notes on how rockstar games goes about their business...
    ]

Yeah, rockstar... they release their games in 5 year cycles or so, whereas EA Sports is every year. It's no defence for releasing buggy games of course, but you can't really compare them. And I remember in GTAIV many people had huge issues from release on the PC, graphics crashing - I think it affected AMD cards mostly, but there was great wailing and gnashing of teeth. So they're not perfect, but maybe they learned their lesson?

By the way, I noticed in my second club, that it was the same guy getting the dressing room error three times in a row in 5vs5, and we always got the same opponent when he crashed too. Pretty weird and annoying. Not sure what his connection or settings were.

How come we can get the exact same opponent multiple times when searching for a game, and this was prime time with high population too?

  • It’s September 27 and still I have dressing room area after every ones match I have to either restart the game or disconnect from the Internet in order to get the next game to work I can never play two games in a row. I love the game when it works but it is driving me crazy having to restart every time I can only play a couple games at a time because it is so frustrating. Please please fix this thank you

This is happening as well and It is booting one of my club members every time in a club game my PSN ID is JohnsonSmashwell
  • 10 attempts in a row with our full squad in club and we never started a game. 2 players got sick of it and quit, then we were able to play every 3rd attempt.
  • Can we please get an update on when this is getting fixed?

It's Friday, if this weekend is anything like the last 2 weekends, the next time we will hear anything from a dev will be Monday or Tuesday. Doesn't seem thus far that they are working weekends sadly. Another week of no CHEL.

Yeah, seems to be the case. So another weekend of not being able to play with my club. Awesome.

Officially retiring from the NHL series after this year. I would probably do the same even without this dressing room error stuff. Been buying all these games day 1 since NHL 07 and I'm just beyond burned out at this point. It feels like a chore to play, and that's not why I should be playing video games. But yeah, going on three weeks now of being unable to play the mode that I bought the game for, and I just feel done. I've spent countless hours TRYING to get into games when I could have spent that time doing literally anything else. EA won't compensate any of us for the time wasted though, Sony won't give me a refund, and so I'm stuck with the game. I'd like to not have completely wasted $60 so please fix this so I can get some enjoyment out of my final NHL game.

Well, you know, after you guys take the weekend off while people still can't play your game that we have to pay for every year.

I’ve had NHL games since NHL 93 on Sega Genesis and I’m beyond pissed about the issue, but so far it legit seems like @EA_Roger is trying to keep us as informed as he can. The fact that so many people are still unable to play (I got lucky, I got two whole games in today) I really do believe some sort of compensation should happen. A sweet hockey bag? I don’t know

I remember back in NHL 15-ish when something happened in HUT, I was compensated a few packs.
  • People who tried to help should get an EASHL and Player Jersey of EA Helper. =p
  • I keep getting booted keeps saying dressing room error need to fix this
  • Do to all the bugs, everyone who purchased this should have free access to all “200” legends free of charge. Hey should do something for releasing a unfinished product @EA_Roger
  • Still it seems there is no end in sight for all our problems with this game..

Update from our dev on this:
    Dressing Room errors:
We have identified the root cause of the error and it was specific to PS4. We are in the midst of testing a work around fix to deploy to the server in hope that the issues are resolved until a proper client fix can be made in an upcoming patch.

  • Any update to Dressing Room Errors? I don't want a link to the General Discussion Thread please.
  • I have the same dressing room error consistently. The only temporary fix I have had success with so far is quitting out of world of chel then loading back in...in most cases this freezes and I have to restart the game. Basically, I have to restart my game after every EASHL game...this is crap.
  • So am I still getting dressing room error even after patch? oh god
