Nope. Still feels the same with no lag. What mode are you seeing it in though? Unless it's in EASHL, you're not on EA's servers so chances are good it's with your connection if that's the case. If it is in EASHL, it's still good to do some basic network troubleshooting.
It's not our connection. I wish people would stop blaming us when every single OTHER game we play has no issue. But NHL ALWAYS does.
Not every game is the same. If you want to ignore spending 10 minutes doing some basic troubleshooting and just keep blaming EA, that's your choice, but in most instances you'll get it resolved and be back to playing without lag. Unless you're on wireless. In that case, you're always going to be susceptible to an unstable connection. Again, unless you're playing EASHL, it's not EA since you're not even using their servers.
sorry I was referring to EASHL...I've also noticed that on the Eastern servers i now get 3 different ping times 36, 38, and 39ms. last year it was only 39 or 38 for the most part. 36 ping times my game feels pretty good 85% of the time. 38 and 39 that numbers shrinks to about 35% of the time. but to me, the delay/slughishness its causing is close to gamebreaking once again.

If your or "the" issue was truly directly related to those ping times... you wouldn't notice a discernable difference in those times visually or reaction wise. We are talking 3 ms.
IF you are getting intermittent fat man lag that is visible. I should add.
yea I don't know it's really weird...some games its crazy fat man lag, complete with my guy spinning weird directions, not being able to square up to the puck, way more "seamless" puck pickups that pull my player, etc. and other games the game plays amazing. it seems like its pretty isolated as no one else here seems to be experiencing it, I guess I'll try hard resets on all of my equipment before the next time I play.
Holy cow! I thought my pains this morning were due to bad connection (fatman lag every game), but even a rookie challenge feels like NHL 18.
EA, did you accidentally push a NHL18 tuner or what?
I feel like I got suckered with a bait & switch. I loved the feeling of the game earlier, what changed? I didnt even see any update notifications but something has changed drastically.
Biggest annoyance right now for me is that I can’t control my player for a short moment after they receive the puck.

Edit: This has to be related to some connection the game has during online/challenge games. I was now later able to play fantastic games again.

Skater just doesn't accelerate or change direction very responsively at all. Input delay is there just as bad as ever.
