Ea can't even right proper forum policies , how can they code a game ...

Be polite and kind. Respect others even if they have a different opinion. If you disagree with someone, you are free to do so politely, but please don't make it personal. Respect also means you never harass, embarrass, or threaten other players.

Curse or swear. Don't try to get away with it by using symbols in place of letters, too. We all k*** what you're trying to s**.

Be rude. No matter what your feelings are about other people, EA Forums aren't the place to attack another person. That includes public figures, EA employees, or other forum users.

Don't be a troll, bait or flame. This includes deliberately trying to cause an argument by making sarcastic, off-topic, rude or disruptive posts, and discussions.

In the second line, curse or swear, it clearly says curse or swear, don't put asterisks in, as they will know, just type the whole word out ...

Line three , clearly says BE RUDE in one sentence, then in another not to attack people personally, so indirect is ok ?

So... How can your ban someone for profanity, when you tell us to use profanity... Durrrrrp...

I'm happy to have this conversation as long we don't discuss your own moderation in public. That's for direct messages.

Going to steal @EA_Lanna 's phrasing to respond to this:

The filter isn't in place to allow members to swear or use derogatory terms. It's a tool to help to catch some of the words and block them out but at the end of the day we'll still know the curse or swear you're trying to share in the message. The forum rule itself says not to curse or swear and while the filter will block out the word itself, it doesn't change the fact that you've still cursed or sworn, etc. It's just something to be aware of for again.

Context is key here, "Be rude" & "Curse or swear" rules are in our "Don't" section. If you check out forum rules, there are "Dos" & "Don'ts" to break down what you can do and what you shouldn't:
    Don'ts
Doing something on this list often can get you suspended, or sometimes even banned.
