Camera angles. Lower, wider, smarter panning. Faster panning. (I play low or high and so many times I’ve gotten tuned up as the camera pans. I get it. You don’t want to make people motion sick. However a quick snap pan which doesn’t bobble at the can be just fine. It’s also a good time to adjust the angle of view. Done well you can foster the speed and excitement while maintaining a good working view of the ice. Or you could give us a custom camera with solid capabilities. That would actually be best but will take what I can get now.

Since I am a huge Franchise Mode fan, my suggestions are going to be focused more on that mode than anything else:
We used to have the ability to play the All-Star game and the America vs World prospect game at the end of the year. Now, both games disappeared and I find it sad because they were a lot of fun. I would like to see those games come back as well as possibly being able to play the Winter Classic games during the Franchise.
I would love to have the ability to control more than one team in the Franchise Mode. I remember back in the 2003 NHL game, I used to pick a team while my brothers would select two other teams and we would play many seasons each managing our teams.
One other thing that is missing is goalie injuries. It seems like every time I simulate a game, my goalie gets hurt. However, it never happens when you actually play the game.
Realistic goalies... It seems like it is as easy to score against Carey Price, Marc-Andre Fleury or John Gibson as it is against a 72 overall goalie.
Training camp in Franchise Mode. I would like to be able to cut the guys from the roster during the preseason games instead of being forced to have a 23 players roster before the season even begins.
More face scans. It seems like a lot of key players didn't have their face scanned for the game and look nothing like themselves.
Easier controls for the goalies. Whenever I try playing goalie online, it is simply impossible to be good.
Ability to custom players. I would like to have more customization control over the players already in the game (Hairstyle, Face, etc.), especially for the players who haven't been scanned.
I Love the idea of a wish list BUT I sincerely hope that EA actually reads these and considers many of OUR ideas,cause I really think some of my ideas would really improve the game immensely! Most of my ideas are NOT technical BUT more of aesthetic enhancements. I would really LOVE to get feedback for my ideas from someone that is actually part of the EA Hockey development team. How about you guys at EA actually have a phone number where we can call you and actually chat with someone that is NOT just a go between. With all that being said......Here goes my wishlist for 2020 and its a long one so PLEASE bare with me and read all of it.(Eventually I think EA may just start having literal CUSTOM MADE EA Hockey games for a higher price)....
My ideas have to do with 2 parts of your game and that is the Franchise Mode and the Creation modes,together.
1.Much more VARIETY and Options in the Create Modes for BOTH Players and Teams
Players......1.)More Hairstyles,2.)More Facial Hairstyles and even textures,3.)More skates,4.)More face shields,5.)More unique wrapping for the sticks,also bring Easton into it, 6.)It would be nice to see a much more advanced face generator and to be able to select race,ethnicity,national origin and then go from there and have like around 100 faces for each ethnic group,7.)More generic names for my created players cause I make like 250 created players(Names like Smokey,Killer,Bruiser,etc), 8.)The ability to make my created players from Anywhere(Not just your preselected towns),8.) Maybe even a Personality generator,9.) More celebrations although I was happy to see you add to this year(19)there are still LOTS of possibilites for celebrations(Heisman Pose,The Hulk Hogan,Boxer knockout,The Tebow,Do the X sign with your arms,......just some examples),10.)Per the Goalies I would like to have original Goalie masks<NOT taken form another league and LOTS of them as well,kind of like you done in 2008......I mean admittedly some of the Goalie masks from these other leagues are really sweet BUT I dont like to see another teams logo or name on my Goalies mask......(Themes like ICE,FIRE,a Crypt,etc,etc)
Teams......1.)ALOT more Logos(what about a Tornado,A Phantom looking figure,A Bear,Piranha,Volcanos,Blizzard,Sasquatch,Gunslinger,a Planet like Neptune.....once again just some ideas),I would like to see up to triple the amount of logo selections and maybe multiple ideas for each .I would like the ability to spell out the name of the team on the jersey,2.) ALOT More Jerseys and original designs BESIDES the ones that you have which seem to be blueprints for other teams in the league,3.) ALOT MORE Pants,4.)ALOT More Sox,5.)ALOT more Fonts to choose from 6.)More than 3 Uniform ideas like coming out with my own Anniversary uniform for my Team,or a Stadium Uniform and the ability to bring back like your uniform from your first 3-4 years before changing it 7.)More mascots 8.)ALOT more stadium ideas and make them unique like your 2 stadiums in the AHL affiliate and have like say,25 different stadiums,9.)More scoreboards(instead of 8,how about 16,... ....10.)More Displays than just smoke or fire or lightning 11.)If you can work it out,it would be nice to be able to pick my own songs for the goals and thw ins and Powerplays,other than the new music you have to choose from....I would like to have an AC-DC song for example
Franchise Mode.....1.) One of the biggest complaints I have with Franchise mode is that when I create my players THEY ALL are rookies the same YEAR! I would like to be able to choose what year they come in whether its Via the Draft or Free Agency,that way all my made up players are NOT all gone by the end of my 20-25 year franchise.Say like I make up an original 100 to come in the first year(2019) and then say down the road I make 35 more for 5 years out in (2024), 2.)I would Love to see the players skate on to the Ice from the dressing room, 3.) I would like to see my created team(s) have their own introduction with a pic of the chosen cities skyline like my current team is Tulsa...I would like to see a Pic of Tulsa while Doc and Eddie are speaking about the game(Skylines of San Antonio,Houston,Salt Lake,Cleveland....whatever city there is that we can choose in Franchise mode I would like to see that city at the beginning on some games like you have currently for the NHL teams,.. 4.) ALOT more animations from the players faces and interactions with each other on the bench or on the ice other than just the one where the players wave their hands in front of their face like smelling salts,also have the players interact with the Fans through the glass.......Pointing to the crowd etc...,5.) More fan movement and it would be really awesome to see the fans for short intervals during,the intermissions at the concession stand or at the team store, 6.)It would be neat to see the Zamboni during the intermission doing its rounds again for just a quick view,say 30secs or 1minute 7.) ALOT more dialogue from Eddie,Doc and Ray other than what you have already and try and make it to the point rather than generalities,...8.)Maybe even a press conference? ,...9.)the Same coach for at least one whole season rather than a different coach every game!?!? ,10.) Be able to track all your created players career highlights and total stats...Like date of first point first goal,first assist first hat trick,most goals in a game,most hits, and awards hey may have gotten like the Norris Trophy and how many times did they get it etc,etc,... Plus when they retire their total stats plus for each year, 11.)During the Stanley Cup playoffs I would like to really notice a big difference in presentation and notice a clear difference between the excitement......also during the Stanley Cup ceremony I would like to see each player carry the Trophy rather than just like 4 ,....12.) After you win the Stanley Cup,... the following year you have a ring ceremony for the players and all and then raise the banner into the rafters ,...13.)Bring back the ALL Star game ,...14.) When a player retires which I would like to have control over when my created players(ON MY TEAM) retire if they were good enough and had great stats they could be considered for the Hall of Fame and have their jersey retired
,...15.)Maybe a victory parade? ..............Lastly while I dont hardly play any other mode than Franchise with heavy use of the Creation modes,I would LOVE to see a International mode...AKA the Olympics and have a Tournament like in the Olympics.......................................

This game does not still have a solid way of playing dumo & chase hockey.
In HUt for instance, players with moderate level of skill and hockey sense can still get pretty much leverage by playing a 0-5 defense (you set it to 1-4 and drop down with your point).
In real life, in real hockey, there is two ways to counter a trap playing team. Either you have fast breakouts or you dumo the puck.
The only option as of now is to lift the puck (same way as you lift out the puck from d zone) into the off zone with no accuracy at all. There should be a function in the controls to make a controlled hard dump, either by rimming the puck or dumping it to the other corner.
The second thing is that EA needs to implement a strategy for dump & chase that really works. As of now, if you turn the carry/dump bias to max the AI still doesn't play a dumo & chase hockey.
In my book, full dump means that your wingers go through neutral zone in high speed and it is up to you to make the dump. And that requires decent controls for making controlled dumps.
By adding a real working dump & chase tacticts to the game would give you two working strategies and it would balance up the game. Yes, you can still play that defensive, counter style hockey with small fast players. But you could counter that by playing dump & chase hockey with heavy forwards winning the battles in the corners and creating chanses by doing that.
As the game is now, dumping the puck means giving away possession 9/10 times.

I’d like to see “Battle for the Cup” brought back, but not as it was.
This is a huge request, because it involves old players and arenas.
I’d like to see a Battle for the Cup mode where you select the year, and it has the actual rosters, uniforms and arenas related to that year.
Now, it might be crazy to go back 100+ years, so I’d settle for all the Finals in the last 25-30 years.
And a real treat, but it’s only for kicks and probably not possible, would be to be able to play the actual EA NHL from each of those years. The game has been around since 1991 (got every one of them), and I’d love to re-play the ‘94 Finals between my beloved Blueshirts and the Canucks.
If EA wants to save cash. make NHL 20 play like 19 when it came out. No need to add game mechanics or a bunch of new code. And a "guarantee" of no tuner updates when the product is released.
I'll probably enjoy the NHL 20 beta, but I will not pre-order the game or purchase it for a few months in case EA decides to ruin it again like 19.
I want it to be possible to play with all teams ingame in Be a Pro and Franchise mode not only NHL, AHL and the canadian junior leagues. That way the game will be so much deeper.
My wish is that there will be a new Dev Team with more knowledge from Hockey. Before the game will not be better. I do not believe longer in this Team.
My number one wish for nhl20.... Have everything work properly from DAY ONE, no excuses. That's what betas are for. Also deliver what's promised. No more false advertising
Hi I played nhl 19 I loved it. its the best nhl game ever released...all the updates and hard work put into nhl 19 was damn near perfect....however I still think one key missing element is winter classic mode. Winter classic mode needs to be re-featured and possibly add stadium series mode and heritage classic mode with (snow) "weather control" also face scanning truly make yourself into the game like in fifa. Also more frequent roster updates because in the real league rosters changes at the blink of an eye...daily if not weekly roster updates would be awesome.
Just some ideas to put out there for next year...but please ..please.. please add winter classic mode...

Here’s my wishlist;
1.) in franchise mode, have Seattle come in during the off-season of the 2021 season or whenever there’re coming in.
2.) also in franchise mode, make July 1st better! Maybe negotiate and compete with other teams for the top free agents and actually have free agents sign on July 1st.
3.) more team creation logo options.
4.) world juniors!! If you draft a top player and you play him immediately, have there be the option to loan him to his country or not. And be able to play the world jumiors and track stats throughout the tournament.
5.) college players. Have real life college players in the game. Yah I know there won’t be the NCAA but just put them in the game and have them play in “USA east, west, or central; or something like that. It’s kind of a pain making every NCAA player...
6.) the ability to sign players to AHL contracts/PTOs. When there’s undrafted or unsigned prospects, I want to see their potential/overall before I commit a NHL contract to them. Plus it could be used to rejuvenate a vets career.
7.) overhaul be a pro. Bring back live the life, have press conferences and post game interviews, have actual practices and form relationships with teammates/coaches.
Wishlist is hopeless as EA rarely listens...im a sucker though and they will still get my money. Just posting so I can **** when they dont address wants/needs and roll out a glitchy roster/tuner update with a new cover athlete...

Like change their horrible face or facial hair selections that EA selected that dont resemble the real person at all. And make this available within franchise mode so my first overall 17 y.o pick doesnt look 85 y.o and have grey hair.

It is too bad EA does not make each of these modes their own version of the game. At the very least, it would be great to see an entire version of the game dedicated to Franchise mode. I do not play or care about the other modes.
Franchise mode as an entire game could just be like being part of the Franchise for all of your human years, then pay the yearly subscription fee for add-ons, patches, updates, etc...
So, in essence you could create your own team and play forever and watch your Franchise grow over 100 years or however long you live
