Speed Burst Cheese? (Video)

Playing an LG team and their entire team literally did this cheesy move all game. I haven't been here for a while so idk if this is a known thing. Here is the vid:

in the zone, or going up the ice their guys just do this and we can't catch them at all. If you poke, you get a tripping. If you hit, then they just spin around you.

They are tapping the left trigger. It prevents you from hitting them...And obviously poking. Say goodbye to any defense for NHL 19.

Just another exploit that EA allows to remain in the game. They couldn't care less about this kind of nonsense no matter how the developers come onto the forum and pretend to care. Dont expect it to change anytime soon. NHL 20 will be the same, just a different way to do it.

While the devs here try to do a good job of explaining every nuance of how the game plays, I feel what they experience in their own secluded dev environment is vastly different from what we night by night players have to endure all the time. This is the crap that makes this game a joke. I've seen quite a few LG teams do this, and see it ALL the time in 3's with vet players. They know how to exploit the game in ways like this.

Yeah, I hate that kind of play. So boring when you try to play life style hockey and go up against guys like that.

Easy fix. You wanna spam tap the vision control? Then make the player spin and lose the puck, but EA cant even get the skating right so I dunno how they would even remotely come close to implementing such a feature. Game is complete trash. Its time that the franchise gets a complete overhaul on everything, but thats not gonna happen either. I'm sure for ps5 and xbox's new releases that are incoming there will be another "bare bones" NHL like 15 released cuz "We just didnt have enough time to get all of the features in the game." Its time for the community to get its point across and our club is officially on hiatus from NHL. Sure, 5 guys arent gonna make a dent in the "cause," but if/when enough guys say enough is enough, they'll start to notice. Maybe then we will get an NHL worth playing.

This. I've mentioned this before in the past when it comes to continued use of deke, twists, and twirls, there should be puck control penalties. It would be a bit more realistic.
