This year there has to be the smartest shoppers in the ah. Usually if you pull the first card it brings top coins. Not anymore.

Yea I’m sure reddit has a part in it.
  • i try to list every tradable player before i used them but have only sold a few and for less than i'd like. i'm super skeptical of the Auction House as it is.

i'm on Xbox but what are you trying to list??

i've been trying to sell an Evo Mitch Marner the last couple weekends but had no takers. i saw an active bid for that card when it dropped @ 520K and i've been listing @ 455K/555K. he went to an 88 today so it will be interesting if i can move him this weekend.

Cards with over 100k price tag are always harder to shift and generally need to be listed as lowest "buy now" price to get them sold.

If one constantly lists a card for lowest bin but gets no biters, then the market price of the card is too high. EVO cards in general have lost the sexiness because of single synergy yet high price tag.

tl;dr If you have problems selling your card, lower the buy now price until it sells. Simples.
  • I’m in the minority here but I think the prices are just absurd this year. Definitely keeping me from buying in the market. 86 overalls going for 125,000 and 88-89 going for 300,000+......I’m simply not buying them. We are already seeing cards 91-93 and by next month we will be into the 95+ cards and you will be lucky to get 20,000 for those 86 and lucky to pul 70.000 for those 88-89 cards. I’ve sold high and sitting on a nice pile of pucks and I think many are waiting on price drops. You also hear more and more people complain that their better built teams play worse than their weaker built teams so people see no need to spend. I can attest to that

Couldn’t agree more with this. I think I’ve bought 4 cards off the auction house. 2 just to turn for a profit. I’ve been stashing coins for a while now over 4 mil. Currently.

Most, if not all 86 overall cards that sell for 100k or more, do so because they have Burner. You’ll certainly see some around that price range with Speedster, but primarily Burner is the most sought after synergy.

Personally when I sell cards on the AH, I search the card I’m about to sell and find the lowest price available. I then put the card up at less than the lowest price with no buyout for an hour. 256 sold items to date using this system.

same here except i do add a Buy Now price and might adjust the time frame if i'm posting an auction on a week day.
  • I’ve noticed the Burner cards go for more. Not sure why because my 99 speed cards get caught easily by 83 speed cards lol...

Endurance primarily. As long as a burner card has decent endurance (80+) it’s going to retain value. 86 TOTW Panarin came out in around the end of Sept. Still 90K avg on the boards.

I think a lot has to do with lack of coins. You mean to tell me Coffey gets listed for 1.2 mil and only gets one bid???? I don’t think a lot of people have coins to burn or there waiting for better cards.
