I opened 3 Extreme Xmas packs to get me started - I've been saving up for this since it was leaked - and out of the 18 Xmas collectables I had to choose from - 1 (one) snowflake for McDavid!
At this rate it's going to cost 3 packs x 20 snowflakes x 125,000 coins per pack - that's a staggering 7,500,000 coins to make him - I could buy 99 Gretzky and Mario on the market for less than that!!!!
I know it's a random chance in packs, and yes I did get my guarenteed collectables and sold them quickly to make some money back but I hope things improve soon or no-one is going to be having 95 McDavid under their NHL 19 Christmas Tree this year.

Plus all the other stats apart from speed - and having just added the For The Boys synergy to my team as well as Burner, some of those like poise and endurance are underrated. As the 4th best card in the game - and the top 3 require a grind (and pocket) for the ages then if the McDavid Xmas collectibles become more readily available then they should get cheaper and make him a must have

@Jetset95 I'd like to see your lineup. I'm probably going to finally leave those halloween players behind and will have only 6 player synergies and BU active.
I've had the game since launch - worked hard on the milestones and collectibles - I bought one of the legend packs when they came out in Sept and got Leetch. Every other card you see is from milestones or the free legends and coins I've earned from completing the offline challenges and playing online matches to win coins and packs.
My coach is Brian Fiddler (gold) who added 3 of the FB synergy - the Xmas and Thanksgiving challenges to win the 86 Ristolainen and 85 Rielly were crucial to add two more BU synergies and get me the 10 I needed.

Horton would be better would boost my FB syns one more and let me replace 88 Ferraro if another monthly legend C comes out who's better (unlike Clarke) or the Xmas present might be better than an 88 and is probably going to be a C right...?
