You call this hockey music?

I knew right away when the game finished loading and the music started playing, this game was not going to be all that good. Hockey people don't listen to music about how their lover left them or their poor little feelers are hurt. Is asking for a few metal songs from bands like Metallica, Slayer. or even Iron Maiden too much to ask for? C'mon you had Avenged Seven Fold, Black Sabbath, Helmet, Judas Priest, Pantera on a few of your Madden games, In fact just use the Madden 10 soundtrack on NHL 20. End of rant.

Remember the feature to implement your own music into the game? It would be nice to have that back EA.
Put some Slipknot, A7X and some Pantera in NHL 20.

Just the sound of skates on the ice, sticks colliding and the distant shout of your team mates or coach.
Offside! Clear! Shoot! Just like a training-session.
Still, I agree. Some harder music would be nice!
When there's blood in the water
Don’t even listen to music while playing. I love hearing the “sounds of the game.”
LOL. I think they just can't afford the kind of music we listen to so we are stuck with these "on sale" songs.
Not hard, just not allowed by Microsoft or Sony. They don't want streamers streaming music without proper rights. What I don't understand is why Microsoft and Sony don't just block custom music when streaming, and allow it when not.
Sorry but this is false. If there was a copyright issue with streamers playing music while streaming (there isn’t) it would have nothing to do with Microsoft or Sony. It would be an issue for the streaming service (Twitch etc.) or the streamer themselves.
I’ve seen tons of streamers playing with music in the background.
If that's the case, why do Microsoft and Sony not allow custom music in games this gen when they allowed it last gen (when there was no built-in streaming support)?
Also note that Mixer is a Microsoft site.. they are a streaming service.
If that's true, there's still nothing the NHL devs (or the devs of any other game) can do about it. Whether I'm right or you're right, complaints about the lack of custom music in games (I hate that it's not there too) should be directed at Microsoft and Sony.
But then why does MLB The Show have custom music? Actually I wouldn't care if it's streaming, I'd be perfectly fine if we could just put mp3s on a usb stick and import it into the game, just as you can in The Show.
Here's a video of how it works in The Show 17:
