Player faces?

When will Elias Pettersson get a face that look some what similar to his? How is it possible that severeal junior and ahl players have face scans but not the the nhl rookie superstar? Are any more faces going to be added at this point?

We'll most likely have to wait for NHL20 to get new faces. I honestly think there are more pressing issues that need fixing over more clay-face monstrocities but to each their own

For player faces there is an art department. The developers for gameplay has nothing to do with that. So there is no excuse not to add regulary face scans at Roster updates. For me it is clear that the art department working to 99% to create new frames for player pics to sell them in Hut. Its more lucrative for business. Aprox. 90 - 95% of the players have generic faces. Many looking like bros, many looking far from similar appearance as Pettersson or Kotkaniemi ( ... from baby face, EA made him looking like an old man )

Thats fine ! Some more would be cool. Kotkaniemi, the Babyface looks like an old man like over 40

So What about Rantanen, Forsberg, Point, Tkachuk and Carlson? Superstars in my book. Prospects like Boqvist, the other Tkachuk, and Bouchard etc.

No popular Sport game doing so less in this case. To add around 30 player faces every year is not enough. 30 go in, 5 going out of the game cause retire. My list for wish players would be very long, but unfortunately they do not listen what comunity and customer wants. By the way .... cause you are speaking about Adam Boqvist ..... they are not able to add player pics ( remember not one since release of the game ), So many are missing. This should be an absolute minimum to do.

You know what, I’m quite sure every year when the new features of the next NHL game are announced they always talk about player likeness and still nothing is ever done or added.

I don’t get that all teams play at least one time in Vancouver and EA can’t seem to scan players before or after practices or games. They are there already, just take the equipment to the arena for every game one year or ask the Canucks if you can leave your scan booth there. This game has way too many generic faces for far too long.

It's an absolute joke how bad the players look in this game. There are much better graphical games on last gen tech. The crowd models constantly move and glitch through each other. It's just trash!

It’s good that more and more going to tell that graphic details like faces, goalie masks, equipment, player pics are important too

@Ty_Hors The question is ..... will they do more in this case in issue 19, or is that all what we have seen now ?
