Good luck bud they “fixed” the servers already! Apparently it’s a Very small amount of NHL19 customers who are experiencing poor connections and latency issues yet Shaw Canada is well
Aware of the “NHL19 epidemic” so I am at total loss for words dude! It’s our fault try to source a better internet provider is all I can recommend bud! Lololol! Meanwhile I have absolutely no problems with any other online service I use or any other game I happen to enjoy. Weird eh?
I have worked with people here in the past that lead to a certain Canadian provider, that will not be named, identifying an issue with their peering point to the U.S.
As "luck" would have it, a tech that worked for that company was here on these boards and he went back to his upper tier / NTAC teams who made a change and the numerous customers that ravaged these boards with complaints were no longer seeing the issue.
just food for thought.
There's vast differences between the two though, that issue was causing crazy skipping in every single game no matter what your ping said. Also compounding that issue, was an issue that was 100% on EA's end that year, and that was home team captain lag.
What I'm personally seeing recently is just incredibly sporadic conditions while connecting to the servers. For about a week of the new eastern (cuz it certainly isn't central) my connection from the West coast went back to playing like the Beta, my connection was as good as you can expect connecting from one coast to the other. However, since about last sunday the 24th, my connection has gone back to about a 20% chance of having a good connection. Ping response times have remained identical (72-84 ish with the rare game higher somehow). I've seen games where for no apparent reason the entire second period my ping spiked and remained a consistent 420ms.
Overall, servers remain my biggest gripe. There's games where you feel like you're driving a boat more than controlling an avatar on ice skates. In those games, nothing works. Pucks consistently go through your skater, puck pickups become infuriating, shots seem to miss the net more than usual, passes are more likely to be off the mark.
For some reason, the club challenge games are even worse than standard club games as well.

Pretty much the same for me.
Old ping was constant 17ms. Now I hover around 42-74 yet feels like 150ms.
I should see a constant 34 ish while having the same experience as I used to at 17ms, which is not the case for the last 2 weeks, give or take a couple days.

An when is this patch coming out. Right now my pings are still higher then normal.
NHL 19 ping are normal at 6-8 pings. Now my pings are 15 to 25 and some games are even higher. With our pings being this high there is a disadvantage to 1 side or the other. The game is just not fun when these issue are taking the fun out of the game. If you can allow us to see the ping before we start a game that would be nice. That good connection on the screen isnt really telling the truth. We all have to wait until the 1st period ends to see what our pings are in game. Even tho I do not really need to see the pings in game, I can tell just from playing the 1st period...
Thanks and I hope you actually fix this problem. If you reply an say you did fix it. I have to say no you didn't. I check your pings vs other games and like I said before my pings are 6 to 8 in every other game I play on Xbox One and PS4.

So yeah, our (European) club played an American team yesterday (QCMHL or some other ungodly letter combo in front of the team name), and the game said the connection was three green bars, but my ping was 65, normally it's around 30. One team member had the same ping, when normally he gets somthing like 15.

QC is not American. It is french Canadian, likely from Montreal or in that vicinity. It is from the province of Quebec.

I get green at 83ms...it used to be 40ms. They didn’t change the colour, just the number. If you get over 100ms it will be yellow (50ms was the threshold before).

LGCHL perhaps? If you were playing club in the afternoon, chances are you matched up with one of LG's clubs who are active at that time trying to get in practice games. A couple of years ago, LG decreed that all clubs names must abide by a naming convention. So "LGCHL Quebec Ramparts" or "LG Syracuse Crunch" (for example) will be what these teams name themselves. Just because their club's team name is part of the QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) doesn't mean their players are all from Quebec. LOL.
And yes, you were always getting around 60-65ms ping. Just there was a bug in the way the game displayed the info and halved your value. This bug was corrected in the last patch (not tuner). Now it displays correctly as 65ms.

Yes, but my point is why were we playing an American team? There were no European opponents at prime time, really?
Last year if I had a ping of 65, it was always orange, and outside Europe for sure. So it doesn't make sense, even with the bug accounted for (which I thought was about this year's game only?) And last year my regular ping was 30, as it is this year. I don't think the patch fix changed that, but I did get the occasional 19 before the patch.
I honestly don't know why you would match up with an NA team when you're obviously EU. That's something that @NHL_ONL_Producer might know better than anyone else here. Maybe the search engine will broaden its parameters after a certain amount of time without finding a possible matchup

last year if you got a 65 ping it would be orange because that's actually a 130 ping on the new display. 65 ping isn't even that bad for a cross ocean connection. I play every single game on a 75-80 ping, and it's very hit or miss. The server stability for this game has always been bad, the new "central" server has fixed absolutely nothing.
Ping doubled in north europe and seems like you removed, server went offline or something to the new server that was added in EU. Care to explain?
Played few club games last night, ping was 20 to 22ms. Same what it has been for me after new EU server.
But the gameplay felt different from game to game tough. First three were slow and player felt "heavy", almost like there was a bit of fatman lag. Fourth game was totally different, both teams were flying on the ice, it was quite hard to adapt after those slow ones.
I guess those slow games were against Swedish teams, fast one was against Czech team. Based only on gamer tags / team names though so not 100% sure about that. Our team is from Finland and on Xbox.
Like I said the ping was same in every game... So it is obvious that opponent team/player(s) affects your gameplay even though games are played through servers.
Since Ea changed the Server Location, i m not able to play a clean game cause i feel very bad input lag and its not fun to play anymore. My Ping was 11 ms and its hitting 41ms avg. now. I m losing even to people who have zero knowledge to play this game. I mean i m adapting any change u make EA but there are things in the game which u cant control. I could show u videos of that. The Contact is glitchy as soon as you get closer to a player u lose the puck without doing anything you can ask also the top player named Miviens he criticized that as well. In generel the game has no structure. The players moving how they want, they running into the goalie, or the offside thing, they running blind into the zone if i wanna get through. It s hard to explain the way the game plays. Its glitchy, u get bumbed and the puck goes directly to ur opponent like it was a magnet and you dont have control about that. The gameplay feels completely different compared to what it was in the beta. I belonged to one of the top players for years but now it feels like i m even worst than a player who never touched this game. Greetings from Germany.
I get the same experience during last games, few last days. Ping apr 40-45ms, seems like 120... I just lost 4 games in a row, 3div, having amazing problems to enter the slot and aim 1-2 good shots. Impossible. My opponent (radulov 82, tavares 85, hull 85, keith 81 and doughty 90) was literally going around my players with great speed and shooting through 95 Fuhr. Oh, my players Stastny 95, Messier 96, Kuzniecov 97, Sergachew 97. 25shots 1 goal. 6 shots 4goals. Guess whos stats are mine?
anyone else getting laggier than normal games the past week or so ? my ping is still the same, but the actual gameplay is so delayed and sluggish it feels like I'm being routed through Europe or something
these boards seem quiet right now, but would be nice to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

west coast player, isp is telus
It's been terrible as of late, delayed and sluggish just like you said. Makes playing the game unbearable. Yesterday my whole team in EASHL started lagging for about 5 seconds, servers were crapping out. Some of us in Canada and some in the US all with different ISPs and on different coasts.
