There was no uppercut. Watch the replay, Cain's knee buckled and he fell. Ref stopped the fight due to Nganue's ground strikes, but it wasn't a KO win. Instead of his move, they should have included Gracie's read naked choke
Dude there are multiple slow mo replays that show the monster uppercut land and you also see Cain’s head bounce too right before he drops. Your brain doesn’t shut off when your knee gives out. Look it up on youtube, lots of good clips of it. He got crushed by a short uppercut and was gonna eat hammerfists til the ref pulled Francis off him whether his knee gave out or not.
But yeah Cain came back after a 3 year lay off to get destroyed in 22 seconds and have his knee ruined again. Pretty sure he got a 180 day medical suspension but knowing Cain he’s gonna keep getting injured and it’ll end up being another 2-3 years before we see him again.
Cain is the most blown out of proportion overrated heavy weight of all time and he did indeed get clipped with a short uppercut against Ngannou. Just look it up, it’s clear as day when you see the replays.
