Trade Deadline Collectibles

It appears the trade deadline competitive season rewards will be handed out, then 30 minutes later the trade deadline sets end. Most people won't be online in that half hour window to open their packs and use any trade deadline collectibles. Is there anyway the sets can be extended for an extra day after packs are handed out? Or is everyone going to be stuck with useless trade deadline collectibles
