I don’t like this whole thing either.While EA has done some crappy stuff with this franchise over the years nothing they have ever done has been to intentionally screw over the community. Removing a 96 ovr legend and replacing it with anything other than another 96 or better would be intentionally screwing us. This would probably lose them enough customers to eventually sink the franchise. I don’t think that will happen.
my theory is they thought it would take too much money out of their pocket giving away a 96 same time as toty... but thats all we can do is speculate with no official word...
this is good. i'm saying we get Hull but the set won't be available until the last week of March, maybe even the last couple days.
and though i'm saying it's an attempt at parity, pack sales is as good as reason as any and now my leader in the club house. gotta move them packs!!!
Why I believe they removed him, because of Brett Hull. I think they realized and again speculating here, but if they give you a free Bobby Hull then the majority of people won't care to get a Brett Hull and upgrade him into an legend player, means less people spending money to get coins to get hold and carbon cards to upgrade your Brett Hull. Especially with how many carbon cards you need to get to upgrade the Brett Hull, it would just turn people away from doing it.
Now if that's the reasoning I get it, but you at least replace Bobby with someone else though.
Interesting thought but not likely - Bobby is left handed, Brett is right so they are not going to end up in the same position on the same line anyway - there are enough Brett Hull legends out there that if people want him already they would have got him - as I did - so I don't put too much belief in this as a reason sorry.
Like I said I was speculating, but because probably at least 50% of the people who play this game maybe higher don't own a million or more coins like some people do on this game, it's not as easy as you may think to acquire a Legend Brett Hull or save up all that gold to turn into carbon cards, or have the coins to buy gold or carbon collectible cards like others can. Not everyone on this game has coins to spend.
Hence why people who don't have that type of coins would take advantage of a free Hull instead.
Like this is actually getting ridiculous to the point I'm not even caring about doing Daily Objectives anymore to get a month card because what's the point, I have a 65X card that can't even be used to put into a box, and now I'm just going to collect March cards to be able to trade in for April really...
Looks that way but others - who were smart enough not to complete the three tiers earlier, can get him for 30 March Collectibles. So i needed to trade in 65 for what others are getting for 30. (Lesson learned)

So what, they screwed up so made it so pretty much anyone can easily get the card. Even if someone gave up and stopped getting collectables can start again now and still get 30 if starting from 0.
1. Have one 65X March Collectible card from completing the boxes in the set.
Or
2. Just have 30 March Collectible Cards and that's it....
I traded in my x65 and have Messier already
Yeah so did I take advantage of it now, I think they screwed up when adding it lol.
Also had 11 of 30 in the 30 box as well haha.
Good start for April, if there is one?
Lol oh I have more I have like 15 January ones still, 30 February ones lol got both legends Mikita and Stastny, a couple December ones got a bunch if needed.
Hard to say about next month and releasing another legend, after what's gone on this month who knows if they will do it again, but at the same time the playoffs will be going on so you would think since the NHL is still active they would still do something for the month, but just hard to say at this point to be honest.
