At first I was looking at this goal to try to figure out why my goalie decided to move so far to his left on a pass from the near corner but then I saw the magic puck. I guess the game decided that missing that empty net wasn't really an option

Wow...reminds me of the NHL11 curve shot...to EAs credit though..I have played over 1000 games this year.....and have not seen this happen once...actually haven’t seen this in years.

I have seen this happen a half dozen times. They really need to work on their shot animations coinciding with realistic shot physics, where the puck is coming off at appropriate trajectories that correspond 1:1 with the shot animation (and not physics defying).
