Many years seen people shouted PC release for NHL series. What is the real reason that's not happening this year either? PC release would let players and NHL fans to mod game and be able to make it so much more authentic with custom arenas, music, logos... everything. Just weird FIFA and Madden comes to PC but NHL just keep's coming only consoles. Just frustrating to not be able custom things....

Don't act like the same games aren't on PC. No one has to pay anything to play the games only to level up in some cases which in of itself should be illegal. The worst offender in the pay to use features are cell phone apps. I don't think anyone would disagree with that.
It makes a lot more sense that it's a cost issue. Porting the game to PC would have a big cost associated with it. If the game wouldn't sell, it's a big loss to port it over. Of course EA wants to sell as many copies of the game as possible. I would imagine they've looked into this and determined the ROI isn't there. How well does Madden sell on PC? I haven't looked into that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was significantly lower than console sales. NHL would sell a lot less than Madden so most likely it's just not something they want to invest in. Offline it would probably be a good game, but hacking runs rampant in competitive, online PC games. That would be incredibly frustrating with NHL. I'll stick to consoles.
