What will the legends' ages be in franchise mode? Can we use them for multiple years or will they retire after the first year if their real ages are used.
Also, can we edit the legends as well? Will they be available in roster management to be moved to different teams?
Only complete Teams to use in exchange for others or as 32nd Team, or possible to move single players in other current Teams too ? Possible to edit the age of the players ? Want to edit and move player to junior Teams for later drafts. Is that possible?
This is something roster share would have accomplished.
Sure would be, but than not with player Pic in profile and legends would not have there real faces which some of them have now. For me this is important. Of course I like to have Roster sharing or minimum a possibility to transfer my many created players from 19 to 20

I have a feeling these teams will only be available in like versus modes not in franchise so don't get your hopes up about being able to use legends cause everyone did for 19 and look how that turned out...
This is similar to what was floating around before last years game and it didn’t happen. It was questioned many times and ignored by ea over and over on multiple sites. I don’t believe it will happen. Would love to hear someone tell me why i should trust them....

They (EA) screwed up last year. They never should have claimed that legends would be available in all game modes if it wasn't true. I would assume that EA learned from that disaster. I do wonder how they plan to add these teams into franchise mode when there are 33 legend teams and only 31 slots for current NHL teams.

If I remember correctly they mentioned HUT and other online modes but didn't elaborate on questions about them being in offline modes. I was pretty ticked as well last year and followed it closely. They confirmed a couple days before release that the Legends would not be in Offline modes because of their age disrupting Franchise mode.
They already confirmed they are available in Offline modes, not sure why people are asking or saying they aren't :-/
I am questioning it because here were many many time people asked what was going on and it was ignored, yet when there are other topics it gets answers almost right away. I saw pictures of legends on their teams before game was released, and that was never addressed why it wasn’t possible. They showed Gretzky picking up the cup in a oilers uniform didn’t happen. Why were legends available in the 3 on 3 outdoor mode but hey couldn’t be moved around to teams of our choice? I have zero faith in ea and they should have had he decency to address it either way
If Alumni Teams relies on having the NHL Alumni Association, which EA has...then how the hell is Pavel Bure not on the Canucks alumni squad?
I'm curious as to how some players were selected/excluded. For example, no Vanbiesbrouck on the Panthers is extremely questionable.
Also, no Maurice Richard on the Canadiens...but we have Josh Gorges?
Juuse Saros on Nashville alumni team...but not Pekka Rinne?
Currently, over 1000 members have signed on to the Alumni's group license program, including the likes of Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Ray Bourque, Patrick Roy, Steve Yzerman, Jean Beliveau, Mats Sundin, Teemu Selanne, Johnny Bower and nearing 100 other Hall of Famers.
There is a bunch of players from the past simply not signed up with it is why.

Suppose it could be rather difficult for the dead ones

Their families would own the rights. So it would be up to them.
@Socair.. Could you please ask that they let us edit the Alumni players year of birth. It would be nice to get Alumni players in later drafts not to get in mid age.

This is really cool. I didn't expect this.
