Master Icon players

Does anyone know who the choices are for each of the Master Icon selections in each category from the 85 to 90 ovr? Would be nice if someone posted who there is to choose from. Also, wondering if the selections plan on changing throughout the year? Thanks

Yes, there will be more added.

There is an Untradable 96 Master Icon we receive for completing the Daily Pack Milestone. I think it takes 250 to unlock.

I would also hope we will be allowed to use Collectables to increase Ratings and/or Synergies on the Master Icons we already have. But since this is a no brainer...

I was asking what the (2) 85-90 overall choices are. I don't want to waste my icon collectibles if the choices are not to my liking.

I don't think we are on the same page. You are talking about rewards and I'm talking about where you enter the Icon Collectibles to get a player of your choice from 2 selections under the Sets section. There's 5 choices with player ratings from 85 to 90 and each overall takes a certain number of Icon Collectibles.

Jeff_frm_Edmonds told you, no one knows... the choice pack can be ANY 2 of that rating. So trade in one collectible for an 85, it could be Nieuwendyk and Richter. It could be Olcyzk and Hextall, Robitalle and Danyko... basically you choose one from two random 85ovr Master Icons... if you trade in two for the 86, same thing... and so on.

No, he didn't tell me. He gave a vague answer with zero information and based off his previous reply, he mentioned a milestone reward and didn't directly address my concern specifically.

Word of warning you can pull the same player twice ,what a joke ,both times Gordie Howe and Beliveau ,come on EA let us build the player we want or at least make these tradable

Yep. I'm not cashing in anything under 90 and not knowing if it will take more than 9 to score those at 90+ OVR I might hold on to them until after Halloween to see what shakes out.

Yes please don't make the same stupid mistake I did because now I have three players I'm not going to use and I CAN'T EVEN TRADE ...best of luck to you when you do your set

Well, you can always roll them for a 80+ in sets

I do think Icons could have been rolled out better. Howe at 90 knowing there will be another Howe later on (at least there better be) and a 91 for Great and Super with a full season to go seems strange. It would be cool if you could use Collectables to increase the Ratings/Synergies in coming months but I figure that's a long shot.

The current batch of Icons are so low in OVR I expect we will see these Icons in future Events with higher ratings.

I traded in untradeable icon collectibles and I hated my choices. I don't use right handed players on offense and of course that's what I got. Along with the fact goalies were in each pack, I'm just gonna sell off the tradable collectibles. Absolute waste of time and resources.

I see Icon Collectables listed in the House @ 50K and up but no offers on any of them. I was able to pick one up for under 45K but I've been loading up on Gold players and rolling them for the collectable for less so all but 1 of mine are untradable.

The Gold Collectables are running a bit less and I'm curious which will have more value in the future. I just noticed this morning that the Classic Sets have a 50 player roll into Gold but the better value is buying the collectable in the House than buying 50 players.

I'm guessing that only half of the Master Icons have been released, maybe less. Basically it's all the Legends/Alumni from last season plus Howe and EA said they'll have alot more Icons this season than last.

I was disapointed to see the Master players for the Classic NHL event also having Master Icon cards. I think EA should have held back on those Icons if they were rolling them out in this event too. Especially considering the low OVRs on so many of them.

I broke down and rolled for a 90 looking to land Flower but had the choice of Roy or Moose and I took the goalie. I might be wishing I went the other way when I lose the Classic Yzerman loaner next week.

Good news, everybody!!! They made it a choice of 4!

Bad news, Great and Super cost 12 and I just rolled 9 for Roy. I knew I should have waited :-(

I also had a hard time finding Gold players under 1K in the House and the Gold Collectables are going up in price too with the new 2/1 Icon reroll.
