Question before buying game

First year I haven’t bought nhl. My question before purchasing is did they fix the auction house? Do you still have to back in and out to win a bid or does it automatically update like an auction is supposed to?

Still the same. Glitches are worse. Skating mechanics bad. Constant freezing and rebooting during game play. EA has a long road ahead ..not worth it. I regret buying it this year. I dont play anymore but check the firums daily to see if the game has Improved.

Thanks that means I won’t be playing/buying it this year. Oh well I’ll find something else to waste my money on.

Every year EA staff always advertises new and improved somethings with this game.
Like this years’ goalie intelligence. What intelligence are they referring to? Still the same old song and dance, goalies stink as usual and actually play worse than last year.
They drum up this game on Twitter, YouTube, online and etc... So once you buy the game you realize you just bought exactly what you had last year. I would say HUT play had no improvements since 5 years ago. Oh and did I mention that when you buy pack with hopes of displaying your skills with better players it actually backfires and they get beaten by low level teams because of momentum and in game balancing. I used to drop $500 to $1,000 a season but I stopped because of this. I do enjoy this game as it brings me close to the sport I love the most. If they were to fix some of those things I would gladly spend money again but not till it happens.

Haven't seen worse goalies than this year. And I'm playing since 94.

HUT auction house is still awful.

Have to back out, go back in, the same thing where you dont get your coins back instantly and lose the bid, failed to retrieve data... all still exist.

Besides the new Squad Battles you aren't missing much.

Everyone can nit pick and whine but this is by FAR the best game of the last 6 years. Skating is far more realistic, you can pick a pass up in stride, one timers are more realistic and easier to time, and I have had 0 issues with connection or lag this year which I had ALL OF last game. If you bought the last few years yes you've wasted money, what's 60$ on a game they actually somewhat improved on

Side note yes auction house still sucks lol but it is what it is. Atleast the game isn't unplayable

The gameplay is fine.

The auction house is key to HUT and it's trash. It's been trash since HUT started in NHL 12. It's even wonkier this year with how slow the menus are.

This would entail EA fixing their game...you know that almost never happens, and when it does it usually breaks other things.

Honestly when I play the nhl games I spend just as much time in the auction house as I do playing the game. So with the way it’s been the last years it gets old backing in backing out to win a card or just to bid it up.
