My two are just really simple, wouldn't take too much. Mainly BAP focused, but could both go towards regular offline play.
Add shot frequency slider. I thought they used to have this in older games, but as BAP goalie it would be nice to see something other than just high success rate opportunities. Increase shot frequency and the CPU will opt to shoot more often when he has an open shooting lane to the net rather than skate around until a cross crease or they're right in the slot.
BAP or Scaling difficulty. The way it is now when you increase difficulties the opposition gets better, but your CPU player's skills goes down. I know there's sliders, and difficulty adjustment, but these don't seem to address the reaction time and very very dumb decisions of the players. (In all-star, my defenders constantly pass the puck from behind my net to their forwards right in the slot for a gimme goal)
Basically if pro is the matching difficulty where all the CPU players are evenly matched, I suggest when you increase the difficulty to all-star, the opponent AND your players both increase in skill. Eliminating the issue of you having to decide whether you play on a lower difficulty and score 100g a season or play on a higher difficulty and be the only player on your team worth his salt.

EA is a multi-billion dollar company, for them to have a server for this game mode shouldn’t be a problem financially nor technical.

The player does mot need to be a star player, just a player who can have an impact like a top6 forward, even a good top9 who can had punch to a third line. Also being able to sign an impact player can be nice. Having like 4-5 team wanted a player and battling for him could be nice.
-Maybe create a Russian National Hockey League, a league where can have good prospects and player to sign.
-Having a team of prospects developpement. Could be rated like the scouts. This developpement team could have an impact on the potential of a player. Go from a top9 forward to a top6 for exemple.

Also many of the existing generic faces have been the same for years and many of them don’t even look like human beings. Also the option to change the skin tone for generic faces. More options for eyebrows, hair and facial hair. More options for hair and facial hair colors. Now you can’t even have platinum blonde hair. It’s closest to light brown rn.

5. Real masks for existing goalies.

7. Refs giving game misconducts to Computer too. Now they usually get nothing from cross checking from behind.

1: I want SHL in be a pro so we can start in a shl team and be drafted to america after, either chl or nhl or picked by a team to play memorial cup, then be drafted, 2: in hut i want Shl arena, 3: in online i wish i can play against people my own team total, and not a high team with all pros, should be same skill level
NHL 21 would be great if: - Be a pro mode gets a little love, maybe a storyline, post-game interviews, sponsors, etc. Just needs to be better. Something similar to where NBA 2K is going would be nice. - I’ve asked this many times in the last editions, but I know it harder than just saying it, but getting the rights to US college leagues as well as the KHL would be great. Hate drafting some made up Mario Kucherov with white hair at 19 years old, when I could be drafting players like Iaroslav Askarov or Luke Hughes. - Franchise mode was a little more interactive, as to making ways to feel close to your players and staff, like chit-chat like NBA 2K does for instance, or just negotiating contracts face to face or something like that. - May sound dumb, but having the real NHL coaches? Could be pretty fun. - Finally, more control over season celebrations, like choosing players for retired jerseys, banners for Stanley Cup Champs, national anthems before games, press conferences, etc. I mean all of those are part of sports now...
I am part of a league gaming community of 4,000+ players who do competitive 3v3 & 6v6 games year-round. I think it would be awesome to have the ability to do practice mode to work on strategies/plays together. Also, as Esports is becoming more popular, can we have a spectator(s) slot for broadcasting the games and promoting creative ways to stream media content?
My NHL 21 wishlist: 1.In Franchise mode you should be able to see Stats and standings from the other leagues(just like in fifa) 2.It should be possible to sign players from these leagues. Example: you see there’s a player who completely dominated the NLA so you can sign him to make your team better. 3.More leagues i hate that i have to create 150 players to make franchise mode realistic. Leagues like:Finnish 2,Swiss 2,Czech 2,Slovakia,USHL,BCHL,AJHL should be realistic. 4.Maybe try to add young prospects to they’re teams in Europe so they are in the game and you don’t have to create them. Add players like 02/03/04 too team eventough they didn’t play yet or make u20 teams for SHL/NLA/liiga/extraliga 5.Make Ratings for the european leagues realistic. Every players rating in europe is unrealistic and all Players are 2 way forward or grinders.For example Dominik Egli the defender with the mosz points in the NLA has a rating of 53 this is a CHL rating and not even a good one. 6.World juniors,IIHF world championship,Gretzky cup and Olympics Add these to Be a pro and Franchise mode. For example if your team in be a pro is out in the NHL playoffs you can go play for the national team at the world cup. Franchise mode the players that don’t play go to the world championship 7.Let us play in other leagues in Be a pro 8.You should be able to play as national team coach and coach of a team from another league in franchise mode. 9.realistic national team jerseys 10. real gear for Players not in the NHL. Im tired of Nexus 2n pro with the same tape. In the CHL all players look the same. Most of these things should be possible or already in the game. If nothing of this is included i won’t buy.

Most of these things should be possible or already in the game. If nothing of this is included i won’t buy.
1) puck physics (it's getting more and more dumped down= worse from NHL 15)
2) a.i. (please start from from NHL 13 or start from scratch completely)
note: Good ai is not equal to cheating ai (faster for example, or that it can see something that human could not in a given situation).
If you guys still say that's not what's happening in your game now, then I just don't have much hopes in this regard.
3) human like- physics based goalies (these were never good in EAs hockey, so at this point I would suggest hire someone who can do it)
4) physics based movement (not just skating)
5) PC port
Bonus: Rethink your resources management. Focus on hockey.
