Can you atleast make successful stick checks successful?

There is such a handicap and Assist for the offence its really ruining the game. There is 0 level of user skill determining scrums battles in the corner, or lack thereof them because the offensive guy just hast to curl and turn his back and you can do nothing about it but take a penalty or contain the double back turns, and contested pucks in general. I just with there was more user input determining who gets the puck and if you win the battle you know you will have it. The way it is now the auto recover the puck mechanism will trump a well timed poke or stick lift if the skater is a high overall with 0 user input

  • You wonder why ice tilt rumors and theory are so prevalent, yet you let automatic, "randomness" govern the game. Like you can make a perfectly timed poke and some players will walk right through them completely uneffected because the auto recover feature. 0 user skill or input, but a great oppertunity generated because of an event that was not governed by user input or skills, just the system determining contested pucks and battles
