NHL 20 HUT Winternational Event Overview

Hello HUT Community,

We’re extremely excited to announce our biggest event of the year so far – Winternational; where we celebrate both the holiday season, and international hockey over the next 4 weeks! Below we can provide some additional details on what you can look forward to:

Master Items

92 OVR Petr Mrazek – Czechia
93 OVR Zdeno Chara – Slovakia
93 OVR Roman Josi – Switzerland



Each Master Item will be available in sets and packs for two weeks after its release, and more will be announced throughout the event!

Player Content

We will have new player content each week, featuring 12 players on their international teams. In week 1 we’re getting started with some names like U18 Gold Medalist Quinn Hughes (USA), 87 Canada Cup Champion Larry Murphy (Canada), and the Austrian Tiger himself - Thomas Vanek (nobody calls him that).



Advent Calendar + Junior International Player Items

Every weekday we’re going to be offering a free Advent Calendar Pack available in the store. These include fun Christmas rewards, along with Silver Collectibles. Silver Collectibles may be traded in sets during this event for a Junior International Player Item.




Weekday Challenges

Complete weekday challenges to earn Winternational Collectibles. There are different tiers of rewards so the more you complete the better reward you can redeem.



Tier 1 – Base Pack, Choice (1 of 5) 84 OVR Challenge Player – 5x Winternational Collectibles



Tier 2 – Premium Pack, Choice (1 of 5) 85 OVR Challenge Player – 14x Winternational Collectibles



Tier 3 – 1 Gold Collectible, 1 Prime Pack, Choice (1 of 6) 86 OVR Challenge Player – 20x Winternational Collectibles



Winternational Frozen Lake Starter Pack (Untradeable)

The Starter Pack (Untradeable) includes a guaranteed Winternational Player, Gold Collectible, and a blue Christmas sweater jersey item!

the free pack is only on "weekdays" - so today 7th and tomorrow 8th you won't get one

But on weekdays:

Click on the calendar window and it will take you to a page with packs.

The pack on the far left should be black and if you click on it - it will cost 0 pucks, so you can buy it for free

I bought 4550 NHL points in hopes to buy the Blue 2000 Point Pack (2 of them), yet for some reason it tells "The pack you have selected is no longer available for purchase."
Why and how? All I want is this pack, because the probabilities are the best out of the buyable packs and yet I cannot do so?
Did I just get scammed into buying NHL by being shown false advertisements?

It says weekdays but I've only had it once since the release. Has there only been one? Where are the packs? The only one I had was in the store.

That pack has a 1/week limit.

This is noted on the HUT Central page and has been the case all season.

Hi,
Will there be advent packs after christmas? I have 13/14 silver collectibles and there is no other way to get them at the moment.

EA needs to know this. I played a team in squad battle and he has a loan item for 30000 games remaining. How is that possible and how can i get this glitch? If you want to look it up yourself, team name is major woody469

Seen it a few times, mostly goalies, 30 000 games loan.

I could swear that I saw winternational players would get a +3 bonus if their team won the gold, if they won a sliver, and +1 for a bronze when I logged onto HUT last week. I can't find any info online anywhere online. Am I delusional?

Twom I have been looking everywhere for info on that as well! Can't find anything but I swear I read it on the game. You are not delusional sir!

I have come here to check on the same as I'm also missing these boosts... Oddly enough, there's no single word here, but it was announced in the game (+3 for gold, +1 for other medals). Can anyone from EA clarify when these winternational cards boosts are to be expected?

EA where are our Winternational player stat boosts? I spent a lot of money on packs after reading the above mentioned info! Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated from a loyal fan!

This already happened. All the medal winners have received their upgrades.

Where can we find the players that were upgraded? I have players from a variety of teams and haven't been able to decipher who was updated.
