People not playing

Twice tonight in HUT rivals and once last night. People I have tried to play start the game and then set the controller down. The guy last night said he was charging his controller and I should calm down.
Is there nothing that can be done about this?

Just hold the puck and burn the clock when they quit

Score a bunch of goals, get a few more coins at the end of the game. Plus fatten your players stats

This game sucks. I get checked from behind all the time, but when I do it it's a penalty. I'll never buy another EA title again as I'm so sick of this garbage.
