Getting screwed again by EA
so had a lot of comments on my last post on how you make games that are broken and flawed so why not make another one until you finally decide to answer the people who buy this game
On a power plan in hut squad battles on all-star and once again my players get tired and slow down yet there’s don’t. Now this is once again proving a point that your rankings don’t matter you will always give the computers the advantage since I lost the game 4-2 SINCE A 84 OVERALL VASILEVSKIY CAN STOP EVERYTHING WHEN A 91 OVERALL RINNE WITH HIGHER STATS GIVE UP CRAP GOALS. If I make a team for speed and have the synergies sustained pressure on that gives a speed boost to my whole team and have wing man on for acceleration and my players are still getting outskated we have a problem hopefully you stop hiding and actually answer this post

Can you show me some video of slower players outskating faster players? I get that speed is a killer attribute, but it's not going to rack up goals for you. There's personal skill involved with scoring. You need to have good vision of the game, be able to aim, set up good scoring chances, defend well, use strategies that counter your opponent, etc. If you can post some video of your issues, I'll gladly review them.
Some people exaggerates and are just angry to have lost a game, emotions gets the best of us, and we loose it.
But regardless, this is real. I experienced it many times. Sometimes, it's the same team. I will replay a very difficult game where I won 5-3 against a 85 OVR team... so the same team, with the same players, 2 min later... and I will lead 5-0 EASILY and have close to 20 shots... IN THE FIRST PERIOD. (I have a 95 OVR team).
Against the Superstar AI, I get it, our stats are lowered or theirs are up a bit to make it more difficult.
To overcome the difficulty upgrade aka AI cheating, I have developed a way to play against those teams to get the +5 goals and 20 shots anyway.
But in some games, this "cheating" is to the roof. The AI shooting is 80-90%, never miss a pass, always grab loose pucks, no penalties on stick checking, all bumps against you works but yours rarely hit, their hits are nuclear, yours barely makes them fall for 0.5 sec.
Then you can replay the same game against the same team, and all of this is gone.
I won games 12-2 against a 92 OVR full of 90s, icons and Patrick Roy in the net... in SB and could not get max points against a 85 OVR team full of base cards and a random goalie. If I remember this game correctly, I did not get 20 shots.
This is what becomes very frustrating. Controller lag is bad already, where you can't use one timers like your previous 10 games because you're right stick up is always late or do not register... but the next game it might be hyper responsive and you won't even one time you will stick push all goals in the net easily.
But difficulty has different levels of Superstar AI (weak Superstar, normal superstar, strong superstar and godmode superstar) and I know this because I played hundred of SB games now.
I still manage to finish in the top 20 or the top 50 every week. But when I get the "random" godmode superstar against the 85 or higher team... and the controller lag at the same time... I know after 2 minutes of play that I'm not gonna be successful.
So it's NOT a question of skills. It's just insanely frustrating to play a certain game where your loss is scripted in advance and you know it at the start of the game. Your skills might be able to overcome this if you had luck with deflections and glitch goals. But if you want to make it harder, IT HAS TO BE CONSISTENT.
There is no random god mode. Even when you play the same team, it's not going to be an exact duplicate of the previous game. The puck is going to take a different path, it'll have different bounces, etc. I get how you can use confirmation bias to backup how you feel, but there is no god mode, no AI cheating, no ice tilt, no momentum, etc. Your wins and losses are not scripted in advance. None of that exists.
If you are very frequently experiencing input lag, we'll need to go through some troubleshooting.
> There is no random god mode.
How do you explain how a puck stopped at the goal line in the air without the goalie touched it when I played vs superstar AI? Or how the goal line have an invisible wall if the puck is on an all-star/superstar AI players stick but there's no such thing for your own players? Or Defenders magnetic sticks when they turn their arms 180 degress while skating backwards against their own net? Or magnetic sticks when the AI picks up every loose puck against the boards.
Not that I care, because that's the way it's coded, but don't pretend there's no such thing as an unfair advantage for the AI on higher skill levels.
If you can get some video of these occurrences, I'll review and let you know what's happening.
If this were true you'd see base gold players going for more than higher-rated players. You'd also see everyone using base gold teams over special items. There is no handicap whatsoever.
This is the kind of game we buy and that won't change yet so stop worrying about this! Just play the game, it's hella funny to see some people playing tho.. Some got like 95 players, but skate straight in line and aim for a cross crease 95% of the time or goes for the shortside goals rest of the time, I wonder how they'll react once they'll find out what hockey is!
So, everyone knows EA is screwing them, some really want to win so would do anything to! I just love hockey so I play to enjoy myself first, not to win, cause if EA's on your back, good luck! I've hit player at full speed with Big Buff, they didn't even move and kept the puck, while on the other hand,I got hit by Gaudreau and got injured!
Remember, this is a game they're selling to make profit first, without profit there wouldn't be more game, so sit back, take the lost, won't change a thing in your life man!
If you're hitting the post that much, you have a habit of aiming wide. Try to be conscious of this and aim a little more inside the post and you'll hear that clang less.
This is a lie. There is documented proof that there is a system that has been developed by EA in order to do exactly what all the players in the EA NHL community says is going in. If you or the people at EA wanted to prove that it doesn't exist, then there would have to be an audit of the gameplay code which we all know will never happen. All that will happen is the continued demand for "pics or it's not real" by requesting video and coming up with non sensical answers that nobody who doesn't have their head in the sand will actually believe.
I'm curious why the posters are buying the game if it is "fixed" against you?
My 99 speeds never get chased down unless they've been on the ice for awhile or just took or delivered a hit. Likewise, I chase players down on the back check all the time and can get a stick lift or poke at will. Acceleration is a huge factor and if you are needing to counter your momentum forward to back or vice versa. Then you have to factor Endurance, Durability, and Discipline.
How are your strategies set and do they fit the player type? What is the 'Hustle' slider tuned to? Is shot blocking too high and your players are screening the goalie?
All these things matter and if you are asking your players to do something they are not created for they won't do them. Not very well at least. You can't have a SNP carry the puck and expect to make a play. There are thousands of possible combinations and there is no way anyone would be able to set them for perfect execution.
15/20 Pipes in a game is a bit much to believe. I'm terrible at aiming and I only get a few. Like Buddy from Big Beaver I play a rough game and have no trouble making a hit as long as I get my joy stick to the +90. Where you are on the ice attempting to make the hit is a huge factor as well. A finesse player will be able to get by you in space and coming from the line of sight but I can Scott Stevens just about anyone with any of my players, not just my HHs. But that stick has got to get 90 or your not executing a hit. Same with shooting. If you are not going -90 to +90 you're not getting a 1-T off.
Multiple plays a day will also feed this type of hysteria because you're getting tired and your reflexes are being diminished as you go. A little drink and smoke to go along with it and there's no way you are able to hit your marks regularly, or be a reliable judge.
We don't lie here. For more on DDA and NHL, see this article from a previous community manager: https://www.reddit.com/r/NHLHUT/comments/8ddfjb/ea_input_on_tiltddainternat_lag/dxn98b7/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x
some cases real world mo ey) swlw ting players and build a team based not only on how those players play together but also how the fit with a persons own playing style, only to have EA decide to FIX some non existent problem the no one was complaining about anyhow Before all the EA apologists out the chime in, yes, of course you can alter you own gamestyle (some will find this very hard to do, others will not) but my point is you shouldn't have to.. There should be some legal recourse that could put and end to the EA bait and switch.
How could a videa proove this? Who is taking videos of a whole game and besides that - we would need to know the roster of our opponents. Maybe I am wrong, but I don´t see any roster in SB, CS and Rivals. Even after a goal the fade ins of the player cards are too short (and btw mostly covered from the fade in of the NHL shield) and too small to study the ratings of the players.
My feeling with the speed topic is, that too many other facts have an impact on the speed - like team and line strategies. IMO this is wrong because a more defense strategy doesn´t mean that a fast player throttle down his speed - just his awareness and behavior should be touched by this.
It's pretty easy to see which players your opponent has when they score. Otherwise, if you're not sure what players they have, how do you know they are lower-rated than your own? Video would greatly help show us what you're experiencing. Regardless of their overalls, there are other reasons they would be outskated. Fatigue is a major one, but also positioning, angles, the momentum at which the players are moving, etc.
Regarding your comment about goalies, lower rated goalies aren't stopping everything. They are getting scored on as well. Regardless, the defense in front of them is just as important, if not more. If you're giving up good scoring chances, any goalie is susceptible to being scored on.
You post that as if it's offering some sort of proof that it doesn't exist. Aside from a single mention that "ice tilt doesn't exist", the entire post is trying to say that it's all in our head and we just need to chill out. Even if I wanted to get into the semantics of it, the use of the term "ice tilt" doesn't invalidate peoples argument since we refer to the term "DDA". Since only "Ice Tilt" is mentioned in the post, "DDA" could still be used as it's a different term.
That post is just the same ol' stuff that's been said for a long time. More excuses to try and pass off the blame on to the user in order to hide what's really going on.
I mean really, randomness in the NHL as a reason for what exactly? This isn't the NHL. This is a video game where things are programmed in meaning randomness needs to be part of the code.
Can you show me 2 NHL games that are exactly alike? Randomness is a part of a dynamic sport like hockey. The way the puck bounces and reacts to the objects it comes in contact with isn't going to be the same every single game. One bad, or fortunate, bounce can easily change the outcome of a play you hadn't anticipated.
We have said many times that DDA doesn't exist in NHL. Neither does ice tilt or momentum or whatever you want to call it. Your wins are not pre-determined. They are not scripted. Game results are based on how the humans controlled their players as well as the overalls of the players on the ice and the strategies you're setting.
Confirmation bias is the biggest contributor to this theory. If you watch replays of where you think the DDA kicks in, you'll see the string of events that lead up to this. Feel free to post some video of where you think the DDA is so we can discuss it.
Ive posted the video you requested several times now, yet youre ignoring it and claiming that "nobody has given ypu video evidence". Can only post it. Cant force you to watch
