CPU (HUM) Strategy adjustment and questions

1 - If I put the HUM strategy adjustment at 3 or above, why doesn't my CPU coach adjust the individual line strategies (shooting, energy, overload, hold the line, etc)? Shouldn't those also be changed? One would think the CPU would adjust all aspects of the strategies.

2 - Is there a better explanation of the 'efficiency/energy' slider in the individual line setting strategies? I get confused as to which is the better route and why. I hear different things on these strategies. One person says put the slider at 0, but wouldn't doing that make your players more passive?

Thanks.

I think efficiency/energy is like...efficiency in scoring for your higher end players but your 3rd and 4th liners maybe go to create energy such as huge forecheck, hits, throwing pucks on net etc. I could be way off but thats how i interpret it
  • 1. Yeah, I agree. There should be more than just basic changes.

    2. I always thought if you put effiency/energy high it means CPU controlled players in your team burns through the energy meter faster by hustling more, be more aggressive, etc

Efficiency/energy determines how much energy they will output when skating. Zero being coasting and ten being balls to the walls but they will fatigue quicker.
  • Thanks. I'l have to play around with the settings and see if I notice a difference.
