New Servers please and no I don’t want to test my network
I live in Edmonton the game needs servers. This is the only game I play where my ping will jump from 30 m/s to 45 m/s to 75 m/s depending on the opponent.
Listen to your community, you guys are worth 32 billion can you throw us a bone and give us a server?

I know but why is it everyone having issues with the servers? I’ve never been to another developers forums and seen this many complain of lag. I’m not playing on wifi from 3 floors across the house, I’m directly connected via ethernet and play on a gaming monitor. There’s something wrong with the way the game feels its inconsistent and unenjoyable
It’s not fair tbh. I’ve tried multiple ISP’s, modems/equipment, even hired a network engineer to configure my set up. Everyone agrees it’s on EA’s end we need someone to step up here.
Hey, EA, contrary to your (popular) belief, this problem is on you, not us.

Hockey is a fast sport. Tenths of a second matter. There is ZERO room for any lag or poor connection on EA's end. There should be ZERO advantage between one player/team and another based on connection. It's unacceptable.
Buddy perfectly said. 32 billion dollar company and they can’t figure this out????
You are correct it’s why nobody takes them seriously.
That’s unbelievable man. I can’t understand this company
I've tried a lot of different DNS settings. If that really worked, since there are multiple servers, wouldn't it be moot since you're being bounced around between all these servers without knowing which one you're connecting with or even where it's located?
Either show me how to get a good connection or just admit that you don't have the proper infrastructure for it.
Every time I touch the puck the other team closes in on me from halfway across the ice in 2-3 strides. I got 5 players with 90+ speed and I can't get any separation, even against the other teams' 4th liners.
This is especially frustrating since I optimize my lines for endurance and manage them meticulously throughout the game just to have an edge in speed in case I need it late in the period.
The way I do that is by combining players with similar endurance ratings on each line so that they expend and recover energy on a similar "schedule." My forwards' endurance ratings right now are:
90-88-89
87-87-88
85-85-86
84-86-85
I put a lot of thought into constructing my special teams, with energy in mind. Also if there's a quick whistle at the start of a period, instead of trotting the same line out, I'll move to the next line in order to always keep regenerating stamina when possible.
But none of this matters when there's such a great disparity in the speed between teams in Online Versus. The time it takes to set all this up is wasted and it has to be done EVERY SINGLE TIME because there's no option to save lineups.
Already have. That and everything else imaginable.
What type of router do you have and have you logged into it to see if there's a firmware update? I've had that fix lag for me before and it doesn't always update automatically. I'm here to troubleshoot if you want to, however we didn't see any massive trends of connectivity issues over the weekend.
If you run a trace route to our servers via the UO Trace tool from our help article, it shows how your connection is reaching our servers. There were actually some really bad storms moving across the Midwest and East Coast last week. Maybe your connection is traveling through affected areas? That tool could highlight that.
