I second this. 3 v 3 chel has been absolute crap that past week. Takes forever to match up. And then when we do. We have to quit out before puck even drops. And I know I’m not the only one experiencing this. The game is truly not playable right now. [Socair - edited swear filter]
Thank you very much Dev team! I lost 112 CR yesterday because of your secret patch which has blatantly sabotaged the servers. But that was the plan, right? As if your AOL dial-up servers weren't pitiful enough.
We hear your feedback and I'm going to mirror my response that was mentioned here.
We'll pass along the feedback to the team. We've seen reports of this on the forums since more people starting jumping online once the lockdowns started. No word on any imminent changes to servers that I can share with you all now, but appreciate you letting us know how your experiences were over the weekend.
If you're up to try out any troubleshooting steps to see if things improve for you this week, we're always up to the challenge. Just ask and let us know what console you play on.

@EA_Blueberry this is not our issue or a troubleshooting issue. it is an issue with your servers.
Sometimes when a EASHL game connects (I have seen it in all modes). In the pregame lobby there connection bar will flash from green to yellow and red periodically. then when the game starts every few seconds it will freeze up for all players in the game. the ping spikes look the image below steep incline then decline over time. so it seems that the server keeps periodically freezing up then catching up.
we have resorted to checking if this is happening in the lobby and again during the intros and backing out of the game if it's laggy, which is about 1/2 the time.
The community seems to believe this is one of the east servers that is having the issue. and we would really like some communication around what this issue is and why it has not been addressed.
To be clear, I'm not just complaining that the servers were "laggy". There have been plenty of games with recurring brief pauses and I get it, most of the world is online right now. We usually just shrug it off and play through but last night the pauses were literally a little over 3 seconds long for several matches (we stopped after the next run) and happening all game long.
The servers were far more effected than they have been and as I said for guys in MI, NJ and TX so geographically not neighbors. As for the theory above we usually bounce about 50/50 between central and east but I don't know which one(s?) we were on at the time.
Most games are basically unplayable right now. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes of investigating to find a cause. This has been going on more frequently each week. Tonight it's every game. Even the PSN party chat lags when we're in-game playing NHL.
Don't have this problem in Call of Duty, Golf Club, or anything else.

Might sound arrogant but I actually bealive im a really good player in nhl, but becuse some disturbing elements mess up my connection I cant really know. All I know is that the few times im experiencing almost zero lag, its amaze me how brutal simpel it suppose to be.
I would love if they invest in some dynamite servers, the devoloper, the consumers and the game deserve that. Unfortunately I dont think EA people on this forum has the last Word when it comes to that.
