Bring back the community lobbies, Indoor arenas, etc.
NHL 19 and 20 were first 2 games I hardly ever played due to certain components being taken out of the game. I feel it's a huge step backwards as many of us who play regularly didn't want a lot of this.
Why not bring back community lobbies? It's such a difficult time finding players for clubs now without it. Plus trying to get games can take hours to find a full lobby. I spent majority 4 hours just searching for 1 or 2 games.
Drop-in needs to have indoor arenas back, along jersey selection. These last 2 years felt like a BETA due to so much being taken out from previous years. Glass breaking and hitting players over the bench seize to exist. The pure authentic hockey we all loved is gone, and this games turning into a arcade style type game to an extent it's comparable to Fortnite. HUT is the only decent mode now...
Be a Pro needs a huge overhaul, because it's too repetitive and I can only play a few games before it's too much.
Goalies need to be fixed because they are weaker than ever now. I cannot count how many times I try to block a shot with my defense as my goalie lets in some cheesy goals.
An authentic hockey game was once a thing back on the PS3.Xbox 360. Why isn't it now?
Also please give us the ALLSTAR game back!

I wanted to sign LeBron james or an nfl field goal kicker to round out my roster for even higher scoring games ( 12 to 10 scores do not cut it anymore..... sorry ) but I cannot...…
scoring is awful, goalies are worse every year, penalties broke, stick poke/ check broke, the list goes on and on.... but hey we get joe numb tard on you tube as a guest squad battle team....yeah
p.s. to ea....if you really want people to be more inclined to pre order, then tailor to the customer... for example I will not ever play eashl or any of the derivitives, so hockey bags do not interest me in spending more money.
you should offer mix, and a bump for hut only ( say double the current offer, with no eashl bags ) and ones for the eashl ( double bags but no hut )
the way it is now there is no value in spending over the base game cost
and yet every year the sales and number of people online go down ( great business model )
I get hut is a cash cow, but it would be a bigger cash cow if some how the nhl series.....I don't know.....actually played like hockey.
my god people would actually buy the game at launch ( full price even ), and not reduced at the holidays, and free at the end of the year...… holy crap, think of all the hut revenue now.....ca-ching-aling-ling
the dev team gets it's orders from the big wigs ( who honestly could not find their nose if their hand was up it ). so as long as the dev team continues to remain sheep ( and put out the same crap every year, that fyi guys is getting worse...… see goalies ) I do not see this franchise lasting too much longer.
I wasn't going to chime in here because I agree with literally everything said here, except the Be A Pro part as I have not played that game mode. I will hard disagree about HUT being the only decent mode now, and that's why I am chiming in.
I feel like that mode is the root of everything evil and bad in this game. The idea of the mode is good, but the execution of it is terrible. Think "pay to win" and "illegal gambling" here. That backbone of this game mode is all about money. It's not really about how good you play or how "simulation" you try to make it. You basically buy cards with real money to gain a marked advantage over players that don't spend more money. That's a terrible model for players that just want to power up and play for a few hours here and there between life's responsibilities and actually enjoy the game. It's all about the Benjamins.
