It was announced at twitter.com/chelcomms. You can also keep an eye on that account for news.

Will they be posting news elsewhere for us non-Twitter users? I see there's:
    https://www.ea.com/games/nhl/nhl-21
    but it's baren right now.
  • I think I’ll wait it out. I do come here from time to time and see a lot of the same concerns.

You should see that page updated when we have news. We also frequently mirror updates on the forums here and on Answers HQ.

Twitter is used by a small number of the actual population. Any information there should be posted here as well.

I'll never use that dumpster fire of a platform.

In most cases, news is mirrored here as well. We'll keep an eye out for updates and do our best to keep you guys informed that aren't on Twitter.

I'm going to give it to you straight. Yes. If you've been out of hockey for a year it's definitely time to lace those skates back up in NHL 21.
  • Wait another year, they don't know what they're doing over there, I find everytime they patch their games it actually makes it worse to play, while other companies who patch their games normally make it better or more enjoyable to play, it's literally the complete opposite for EA, so you didn't miss much this year and probably saved a lot of stress in your life by not playing this year tbh, and highly recommend taking another year off until it becomes fun to play again if that ever happens...

You obviously haven’t played RDR2 online.

Wait for nhl 22. The new consoles and games designed and developed for the new consoles is the way to go. Sitting out one year, you didn’t miss much. Wait for ea to hopefully make real improvements on the new consoles.
Yea I think I will wait till the new console and game come out.
