Yeah it sucks. I'd say a good chunk of top players from any mode know some of these glitches. I know one in particular on xbox who is a top drop in player and he frequently uses this or some other glitch. I remember playing with him a few years ago and he and his buddy told me some of their little tricks to ensure they never/rarely lost a game. One of the tricks was to score on their own goalie to make as many people on the team quit as possible so they had AI replacements for most of the game.

The last few games I have played against him and his squad, we were up a few goals and mysteriously got disconnected. I know disconnects happen but when they continuously happen against the same people you kind of know what's going on. Now when we match up against him and his little squad of glitchers they just back out. Pretty sad.

This usually happens to me and my buddies when we are against full squads with high CR. We are a squad of high CR players ourselves but we actually play the game properly (no dangling and twirling around with LT, and certainly no disconnecting glitches to avoid a loss).

It is certainly quite common.

Happened to me also against someone I played in Hut Rivals 7 times at like 2am. Cannot even see the opponents recent games or connection before the match. I got no response into this. I also played yesterday up 5-1 just to get CR glitched. After that decided to play drop-in and it's just a troll fest. So I barely play NHL 20 and went back to NHL 18 where we could do indoor drops. The community is massive there compared to this years game.

The community on 18 is significantly smaller than 20. I don't see how it could be massive when comparing the 2. We can see how many people are playing. 18 certainly still has some players, but not near as many as 20 does.

What a sad sad game. Glitches that ruin the user experience are still in. If this happened with any other game it’d be patched that same week.

I guess EA is only a billion dollar company, they don’t have the resources to figure it out.
