This is the strangest flex ever by EA on this game. Maybe it's senility setting in here, but when have they ever done this, releasing mode details piece meal like this?
Well at least I get to know more about the mode I care about tomorrow...
Chel (EASHL specifically) is most important to me so its nice to get info I want "early"
CHEL is up tomorrow!
I'm going to try and keep this updated when they talk about the areas with links so people can try to get all the info here.
They have actually done this a bunch. It's been different from time to time. I remember when we got the information early and people complained there was no more info like 2 months before release. So then they waited and people complained they were waiting too long . They also had things spread out in the past too. I prefer the spread out method as long as they go into details about the modes and changes and interact with the community about the topic discussed.
Gameplay - HUT, but I guess alot of my questions about the gameplay will be clear during the BETA. But will be interesting to hear them out about it too.
Peace ✌️
I get that you’re making a point - but the point is being made on a MUCH larger scale by way of real-world teams making real-world impacts by striking.
Withholding an NHL21 beta test - something your community has been looking forward to for a while now - is not going to raise any more awareness about these terrible acts of police brutality than the actual league itself postponing meaningful games.
It just makes no sense why you’d sour the hardcore fan base just to keep up with the trend.
Obviously I’m not opposed - but definitely disappointed and quite confused as to how any of these things are related.
if it means that EA has finally found a way of objects: hockey sticks, puck, body
it does not pass through itself without response and without physics.
so even no test needs to be. it would be the biggest game revolution in EA hockey.
We'll get the beta when we get it, I'll guess sometime next week.
Until then we should at least try to understand why this is getting delayed in the first place. And I am not asking you to agree with the stance, you can do what you please on that front. But realize this makes all the sense in the world for EA to do given the response EA made the last time this sort of thing happened.
I'm not getting into a topic about race that never goes well.
I did see a little of the other post but not enough to fully comment on it. But I agree with the part that EA should've done more about their own games that had an issue involving racist team names. I've seen several teams with team names that were disgusting.
And I'm not saying you're a racist if you don't agree with the movement. Because I honestly don't believe that. If we're being honest, I don't think that these protests are going about things the right way in some ways, particularly those that are destroying property and stealing from stores. With that said, I do believe for the most part the protests are happening for the right reasons.
Now, let's get this discussion back on topic about the game.
I'm looking forward to playing the closed beta when it releases. It'll be fun to experiment with some of the new dekes and bank passes (what I think I'll use more than the dekes) since the game should feel similar otherwise.
I'm hoping the feedback is constructive and brings the game into a positive direction moving forward heading into the next generation of consoles. That would be ideal.
Beta use to be from fri-sunday but often gets extended 1 day or so..If I remember right.
I guess wednesday-sunday, but I will probebly be wrong...
I just crave to play this now, started to be done with 20.
