Block not going up/defensive options not responding

So i noticed if i try to block just after im hit the block doesn't go up because i got hit?

same thing with slips and lunges the game basically freezes you and you need to hit the button again resulting in you getting hit 3 times with ur hands down 😢

Can this be fixed

At no point during gameplay should the game be making decisions for me
