And you're not wrong ,my question is if they would and or could re-releash 2k10 as is with just updated roster's and with just on-line VS game play would you buy it over 21

What 2k really seem to get right is the movement and the physics, looks so natural.

And - the game speed, it's manageable, you actually have some time to look for good options to pass around the puck to open guys.

Defenetly something EA could take notes from.

But it is, two completely diffrent game engines, so it's hard to compare. But everything looks good about that game, no doubt!

The thing that is so frustrating in my opinion is that EA can probably put out an amazing game if they actually listened to what the real hockey community wanted and to answer my own question I would buy a re-releash of 2k10 over 21 in a heartbeat
  • have you tried my settings? I played 1000 matches with 2k hockey and its weakness finally remained animation and control. yes we played it at the lowest speed because at the highest speed the game behaved exactly like EA hockey online. Well, I don't even want to talk about it online 2k, it was a disaster. But it's EA hockey too. The greatest truth is in the physics of the puck and in the passes. EA could never make this to make it look real. And yet it is the most important thing in hockey .... 2k8 is the oldest hockey game that can do this and I dare say that until EA makes this right, we will not move.

skillstick is the last EA revolution. it is a greatnest thing...12 years awaiting for any new revolution of EA hockey? why

12 years waiting for passes that will fly over the hockey stick. 12 years waiting for passes which CPU AI made a mistake. For 12 years I have been wondering how a pass from the CPU ends up on the CPU stick or on my stick. For 12 years, there has been no inaccurate pass or some long break in the break from the CPU. The whole system of passes is well thought out but does not react as it should. why. thanks to a malfunctioning system, the face-off does not work either. and even one-timer doesn't work. it's all just logical 1 or 0 and there's nothing in between. It's actually really bad every year, it looks a bit better, so the basic rules of random reflection and the moment it lacks. why

when i play fifa i feel the same. it is clear evidence that even frostbite has no effect on better physics. must be programmed and 2k programmers are great. they did the best possible hockey 2k8. But again, there are no so great to invent a skillstick. But if EA hasn't proved this in the next 12 years, it's unlikely we'll see. It's probably too hard.
  • 2k wasn't perfect but it was still a quality product. I wish it got revived when the rumors were circling around a few years ago. That would've been great. I would've given it a shot.

Frostbite is primarily a lighting and asset rendering engine and does not impact gameplay.

Yeah some competition is always good, to be the only actor out there making a hockey game isn't optimally. I think that even EA wouldn’t mind if some new step in to the game. Would perhaps shake things up...

And if you don't like this game, it's always a option to try your luck on the other side.
Im not surprise it's raining hate on EA, they have to please every singel hockey fan out there, it's not realistic.

But I do think it's easy to say 2k would do it so much better, when in fact we really dont have a clue how things would turn out...2k would probebly do alot of people disappointed too, other would be strange.
  • Exactly no compition ,the main reason why they will never put out a good game...but it still would be interesting to see what would happen if 2k would re-releashed 10 updated and of course playable online

If they did that id buy it only and not give ea a cent until they shape up.
  • There's a dude updating 2K. Not sure which one, but it is available on PC in early access.

I think I would, just to try something different and a bit more even-paced?

The physics of the puck is absolutely phenomenal. it's just the physics of the puck as it should be.

but everything else works on me too old.

I would still play it over what we have now
  • Hi guys, does anyone know if there's a possibility to see the NHL2k10 Roster in a form of a Excel or google sheet ? I've been searching for these rosters online for a game with friend but other than on the game itself there seems to be no place where the roster is available ?

    Thank you in advance
