Hopefully this has been fixed.

I made a save switching to my goalie and my goalie doesn't resume play. He just sits frozen in butterfly position. I tried to switch back but I was having input delay from lag sooooo yeah.

This happens a lot when switching to goalie to make saves. Half the time they resume playing as the AI. The other they just sit there and my opponent gets an empty netter.

This has been an issue for as long as I can remember.

I'll throw this one in as some equally broken game mechanics. Players getting away with spamming stick lift over and over.

Me making another save with my goalie. Puck should have been iced but my defenders somehow crash into my goalie and gifted my opponent a goal.

The reason I am sending these videos in the NHL 21 forum is because I would hate for these to happen again. The same type of awful game mechanics have been around since... well? Forever.

EA asks for videos of things to look into and here are more videos.

They will never fix the stick lift ,well at least make it balance ,you must have noticed that the stick lift works better on and is very forgiving on offense than on defense

This one is definitely frustrating to experience. I've seen it myself. I know work was done for 21 to help with defenders putting the puck in their own net so hopefully, we'll see this improve. Especially in your example, it would be great to see a defender be more aware of the puck at their feet and avoid kicking it in. We'll have to see what the future holds.

We’ll have to see what the future holds? Confidence doesn’t seem to high.

The game hasn't been fully released yet. We don't have update notes from the beta. While I know work has been done in this area, I'm not going to guarantee that the puck will never deflect off a defender's skate into their own net.
