It's almost time! NHL 21 will be available to play for up to 10 hours of gameplay on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with an EA Play membership.

I screwed up and bought the deluxe edition before I bought EA pass. You will save money if you just buy EA pass for one month to buy NHL 21

Everyone is getting "failed to retrieve data" errors on XBOX when starting and can't get into HUT

I am watching streams.

Henreek and other major content creators I am watching on Twitch are all having the issue, but PS4 seems to be fine.

I don't know many of them, but I have yet to see one Xbox streamer successfully access HUT.

It's wide spread. Seems xbox centric though.

Hi! Are other players also having the problem that in HUT the pack opening / card reveal animations don't work? The cards wont show up and the only way to proceed from that is to restart the game. This also happened when I first logged in HUT to create my team. After restarting the game the cards (my starting team) had just went to my collection.

Everyone the same? Just me? Servers too overloaded?

i just don’t understand..... why can you not use community/junior arenas for create a team??? THEY ARE ALREADY IN THE GAME.

Hi - On PS4, I'm having an issue in HUT, where despite most things (including gameplay are working fine), pack art doesn't appear, opening a pack results in an empty screen (other than the chell background) and then freezes, and I can't even see pack art in the Store (just boxes with labels below them. Is this being worked on? I confirmed on Reddit that other users are having the same problem

Kinda of a pin in the a$$.

Anytime I go to my Xbox Dashboard to check the NHL 21 multiplerhub disconnect from the servers.

Exact same thing is happening to me. Is a fix being worked on for this?

Can you both let me know if this is still happening to you both after power cycling the console post update?

How to power cycle your PS4 console

Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.

I'm on PS4. I shut down the system and restarted. I'm still having the same issue. Did I need to explicitly download the update or if I entered HUT just before shutting down it would've been downloaded automatically?

Guys make sure the game is 100% downloaded and that you have downloaded the latest turner as well

It also seems like there are dozens of users on Reddit with the same issue on PS4
