Editing the strategies and line chemistry in Franchise mode

Let's say that my 2nd line winger and center prefers shooting instead cycling the puck, but my coach wants them to cycle. Can I actually ignore my head coach's preference and manually crank that cycle/shoot slider to the right to make line strategy more suitable for my players. Also I am gonna play every game by myself, so do I even need to care my chemistry?

You cannot do anything to change your coaches strategies except replace the coach.
You can change your strategies to whatever you want in game but you don’t get the chemistry boosts.
In my experience the boosts are not really noticeable when actually playing the games, only simming but I guess it could factor in.
