I have one of me scoring the same type goal for the fourth time in the game ..tell me again how this game doesn't favor the offense ,this happens 99% of the time even from impossible angles that a pass shouldn't get thru but since this game favors the offense they do ,this by far is the worst NHL to date it's a very unbalanced game

It's this kind of stuff that leads people to do desperate things like lay down in the passing lane...

To get back to your actual topic, there are plenty of people who feel the same way that you do but EA has given no indication that things are not working as intended or that there will be any changes made.

We did have some conversations however about how to mitigate the bad passes getting through...

One is to just run into or back against the pass recipient to either force a stumble animation, grab the pass or be standing on his stick to interfer with his shot or stick handling once the pass gets through.

The 2nd is after years of being taught by the game to stand in the passing lane and wait, it is actually much more effective this year to be in motion and gliding as the pass comes.

Not perfect and not solutions but it at least mitigates some of the damage.

I think everyone would like a much more transparent conversation when it comes to the meta/gameplay. This just isn’t a game that makes me want to play after a game or two, and I’m someone crazy enough about hockey to make an entire custom league year after year in an attempt to enjoy this game more than I should. The experience right now is more frustrating than fun right now whether it’s online or offline.
