It's possible the update downloaded when your Xbox was in sleep mode. To check the version of NHL 21 you have, select the NHL tile and this the Menu button on your controller. Then, go to Manage game & add-ons. Your version should say 1.4.0.0.

this was from a video of this well known person in the NHL 21 Xbox community doing this. How is he not banned yet is what I want to know?
Until EA permanently bans people that do this the game will never get better.
EA you have video proof of this person cheating, you also have their gamer tag. Are they banned yet? If not, why not? And don’t say it’s under review the video shows blatant cheating.
In the NHL a goalie will receive a minor penalty for being involved in the play in the offensive zone.

This is actually funny at first glance but I have two questions here. First, don't NHL rules state if a goalie crosses center ice its an automatic penalty? And secondly, would this make their net wide open? Get the puck and make them pay??
