FIFA 21 Preview Pack Limited Time Event

Ok so back in Fortnite Save The World portion they had added the option to peak inside packs to see what they contain. This allowed people to determine if spending their coins/$$$ was worth buying the pack. This in a way greatly benefits the player as it forced them to put better more enticing items into a pack.

Honestly this should become a permanent thing going forward. And yes the NHL team should adopt this method also.

I think they should list the contents all the time. Instead of just sayin X number of 80+ players, it should say exactly what's in the pack. 1 89 overal, 3 81 overalls, 4 80 overalls. Enough nickle and diming us with packs. I don't want to gamble on packs anymore, this isn't a casino game, so why have gambling?

Agreed, this is how it's done with real hockey cards when you buy boxes!

I've been asking to be able to buy boxes instead of packs for years!

I think HUT needs a change and it shouldn't stop with packs. I stopped playin and don't think I'll come back. Too much time, effort and money for too little reward or fun. I don't think EA will change that anytime soon.

We'll let the team know you'd like to see it for future NHL titles! I'm personally excited for these pack types in FIFA. They're looking forward to gathering the feedback from players in that community and if it's well perceived, it's very possible it could trickle to other sports titles too.

I personally hope it does come to the NHL series. Would love to see like a month long trial and then have a survey to see how the NHL community feels about it. I personally loved the change when they made it into Fortnite Save The World. Quality of packs went up slightly and I didn't feel I was wasting money/currency just to be disappointed and then further myself away from the game mode.

I noticed this in FIFA too. I think it's a great step and much more fair. It also gives the community the ability to appreciate how bad pack weights are. Some of the 125k coin packs that i've "previewed" have been shocking.

I don't think it's unreasonable to see what you are getting. I also can't help but suspect this is a way to craft a defence on the increased pressure on the whole concept and mechanics of "loot boxes" that are being challenged in various parts of the world. Will this solve that? Not sure.
