Visuals and presentation are nice, but where is cross-play? I understand splitting the last gen and current gen versions due to technical differences, but there is no excuse not to unite the PS and Xbox communities. Also, bringing the game to PC is long overdue and uniting PC with PS and Xbox as well.
Will the game still have terribly slow menus? What are the Quality of Life improvements?
The biggest issues with NHL are the small community and wasting time in the terrible menus. The user experience is poor even before stepping on the ice. So many people stopped playing NHL because they were sick of wasting time trying to find a match and dealing with the terrible menus.

May I comment briefly here on the menus?
Please post your feedback, even on the menus, in the closed tech test forums. Thanks!
Lots of us dont have access to the other forums.
So for the menus, the lag is still there. Thats to me the #1 issue with those menus, how they load forever between each clicks. It looked to be fixed in the video you guys published so im assuming its server side video and doesnt lag....you guys know the menus are ultra slow right ?

Which console are you using?
Xbox 1
About the access to tech forums, I just realized I have an old account somehow tied (to my xbox?) in game. When I check online settings > EA Account info, it says my Public ID is a super old ID and email address that I havent used in many years (and that is cancelled) . It says I can change my info at origin.com/profile and when I go, I have all my current info in Origin. How do I link my current origin info so that its used in my NHL games / EA profiles?

Instructions on linking accounts can be found here https://help.ea.com/ca/help/account/link-your-console-accounts/
The menus are still slow on gen 4 I’m afraid. Just data load that the systems can’t accommodate quickly. The WoC video was shown on gen 5, which has superior load times.

Doesnt seem to be a solution for my case.
The account that shows in the game is on an email that hasnt existed in years.
I must have had an EA account under that email at some point and forgot about it and created a new one or something.
So now I have this EA account which isnt linked to xbox yet but my xbox is linked to an EA account I cant access....

Ah, I’m not sure. You can contact an advisor on EA Help or through Twitter if you have an account.

I checked your account and fixed the issue with not having access to the tech test boards. You should be good now so please try posting this here.

I was able to unlink my old account and link my new one and I just submitted feedback.
There's been some pretty significant changes. We'll have more on those down the road though.
When you say "down the road" are you meaning 1 yr, 3 yr, 5 yr, 10 yr from now?
Just wondering since we are still waiting on certain things that have been promised for years but never delivered.

I'm talking about information on NHL 22. More details are revealed as we get closer to release. If you can show me what promises we made that you're wondering about, I'll try to get an answer to them.
