Would like your opinion on the price of the players available on the market ... Each day a lot of them gets cheaper and cheaper (on xbox). Crosby or Ovi will be 70k value in a week or two ?
I dont know if we'll see that far of a drop, from the start I have been under the assumption that with the change in team sets higher OVR cards will be lower in price (at least base cards). The math simply doesn't add up any other way.
Plus you add on the cost to basically dump an entire roster in and you are basically looking at losing hundreds of thousands of coins to gain ONE hero thats worth no more than 200k straight off the AH.
NOW, as ToTW and other special cards drop those themselves you could see hit 1mil coins depending on player and synergy attributes.
I think it welcomes a whole new level to HUT, casual players can now get elite base cards easier and the HARDCORE HUT fan base can still grind the AH to add elite special cards with better stats and more + to synergy traits.
Frankly, I don't see the point in sets vs the old collection bonus packs. You have to give away a lot of cards to get one? And there's really no incentive to collect bronze or silver collections, none at all?
On the other hand, playing draft champions reaveals these hero/legend/high level cards aren't really that special. I play just as well (or bad) as with lower OVR players. And having tried them out in DC, I really have no incentive to try to get better players, and certainly no reason to dish out money for these... so well done EA, I guess?

Only high level card that I felt was worth it was Seguin. Keith at 90 skt apparently can't blow past Chara lol.
Definitely cheaper than last year but some of that is upping the overall player values. An 86 being the new 85. Also I've noticed odds for packs are better. My team is a month ahead of schedule compared to last year with only 15$ spent. Did preorder on digital though so an extra 10 packs.
I have a feeling the hero collectables you get when you open your hero pack are going to be worth a lot.... They will announce something and everyone who grinded out sets will be laughing. I'm on my 8th hero and hoping my theory checks out

I do agree that the hero collectibles will become very useful at some stage, but the way the prices for Hero cards are, it makes no sense to compete these sets unless you're sitting on a large chunk of coins
I completed Detroit first prior to actually doing the math on collectibles. After that Ive stopped and started selling the gold/carbons currently. I agree the HERO collectibles will be something big, but for now I'll just sit on raw coin.
Also my brother told me the sets ONLY DESTROY sub 88 OVR players...I have no idea if this is true...but if it is it makes more sense I suppose.
As if they would tell us how it all works!!! We're supposed to be mind readers. They even put up a special pack with a description that it includes 2 rares and also that it includes 3 rares.
