Has anyone played an opponent that quit after you get the lead and the game doesn't count? Seems like the glitch that was in 16 is still happening in nhl 17

It's not a glitch. EA has this by design. If someone quits in the first :59 seconds of the game it doesn't count. It was done because of all the prior lag we had in games, so u don't waste ur time for the whole 3 periods. Of course some people use it as an escape route when they get scored on early.
It's happened twice now. Once to me and once to my opponent. You go from being on the attack to randomly having no goalie on a defensive zone faceoff. Returning the goalie doesn't seem to work. Embarassingly, when this happened to my opponent this week he skated circles around me with his goalie pulled (frantically trying to return him) before taking a long shot and scoring on me!

How is winning a game and not counting afterwards not a glitch?
It's a much bigger game breaking glitch than losing 1 goal in a game

This happened in the 2nd period. Also they took out the 59 second, if you quit 1 second in its a loss now
