Don't fall for that **** if that's the case send him a 80 rated player and get him to boost his stats lol. Bet ya he will give ya some kinda line saying it has to be 88 or above lol.
My point is, if the pack advertises 4-7 Rares and you get them, you have nothing to complain about. And Rares in HUT are defined as the 85+ rated cards (or special cards).
However if the pack description is misleading, like it usually is, then that's something else.
It doesn't take much logic to figure this out. The Halloween pack is 20 cards with 9 rares for 60k. 15k packs have 2 rares. For 60k you can get 4 15K and have 8 rares and 80 items. Is 1 extra rare better then having 60 extra items... Someone might say yes please do everything you can to avoid that person.
For example, if the pack is described to include 4 rare players and up to 3 collectibles and in another section on the same page it says 7 Rares included, but you only end up with 4 rares and 0 collectibles, then that's misleading.
packs have definitely been nurfed. first 2 weeks every 3 or 4th pack i was getting someone 88 or higher. the promos for WC were gold. trade in the collectable, was getting robitaille, bure, gaudreau, toews, cujo... i spend a lot of time playing the market hustling up pucks to get some packs. the past 2 weeks its been absolute garbage. last 10 packs was getting nothing other then brodies, finally on the last pack picked up wendal clark, nothing to brag about but decent.
Pack draws are random. No guarantees but I was acually happy with my Halloween cards. Best set I ever pulled with Bobby hull as my main pick. But I hear ya...pack draws seem highly unfair almost always.

Perhaps he hasnt seen the value of the collectibles....@30-40k each if you get 3 thats 90-100k what are your chances of getting that value out of 4 reg packs? pretty slim with my luck.

Did you even read what I wrote? I opened up 3 of the packs I didn't receive any collectables . As in 0 , none , zippo . 0 88 or above. All 85 and 86 players and cons, I know the value of what the collectables are its the only reason I opened up the packs.
I was top 100 all year in NHL 15. My record is about 80 wins 90 losses. Does that make any sense to you? But my gameplay is messed in online games including call of duty etc. It must be internet/router/interference of a sort or ports that I can't open. Also I live on a island so maybe that explains it.

You weren't guaranteed any collectables in the pack. Or an 88 player. Only one pack has a guarantee 88+. Go buy a wcoh collectable for 100k and turn it in for a 88+ set. Problem solved. You finally opened a pack with a 88

Opened 3 packs got beyond Rammed not that I'm surprised I've spent in total so far this year $550 and all I've got is a McDavid opening day. This pack says you have the " Chance " at 3 Halloween collectables . In 3 packs I got nothing but a bunch of 85s and 86s ..... 0 collectables .......0 87 or better. 1200 pts or 60k. = $15.50 cad a pack ! What a joke rather of bought gold packs atleast would have got more jerseys , coaches, arenas for trade in.
Good ol' EA cash grab. Stop wasting money on this garbage. 550 bucks!! You could have a new tv or bought some really good seats to some real hockey games, or got some real hockey gear and actually play hockey. What a waste.
